- Thank you for tuning in! Do you have favorite SLGs? Lately I have been loving how neat they keep my handbag. The Bastia is nice, but given the price difference and great quality offered by DUYP, I will be sticking with those.
About LV…they have made things quite difficult for me over the past few months and I hope to share more details soon but it has been related to both product quality and service quality. What would you do?! As of today, I have decided to ship the bag back to LV and whatever happens, happens. If it goes out of stock during the exchange process, it just wasn’t meant for me. Maybe I will go with what Liz suggested in the first place lol😅

I wouldn’t hesitate for one second on returning that item. These brands have got to get it together and do better quality control before shipping that out to customers! For me there is no bag out there where I would consider keeping or repairing out of fear it will sell out. Especially a new bag. I feel like it will forever be a problem. You’re completely right. The high price tag needs to have high quality right behind it. I am trying an exchange and I am no longer worried about it being sold out. If it is, it just wasn’t meant. Thanks for your feedback!
This is a pretty bag 😍💕 You’re not overreacting. I would definitely look into returning this bag and perhaps putting the funds towards another bag.

I actually like the DUYP wallet more than the Hermes.👀👀👀 DUYP makes some great pieces. I can’t wait to get my pre-order bag. I’m so tempted to order another one but I’m going to be patient. Thanks for giving us a closer look at your collection. I hope you get your pink bag from DUYP. The LV Pochette Métis East/West has been on my wishlist. It’s grown on me but the stress you’re experiencing with the brand and finding a great one….😫 I’m so glad DUYP has given us an affordable alternative.
Hey Vivienne. You can say that again. I honestly still like the LV EW too but to avoid the shenanigans, go in-store to pick one. I’m very thankful for DUYP too.

You SOOOOO need that color in your collection. But I don’t think you should keep a bag you have concerns about cuz they cost so much money!!!! You should be confident in your purchase. I think the quality of the DUYP bag design as well as some of the more contemporary brands make it hard to settle when spending so much with luxury brands. 😔 I am still hoping you are able to get something in that color cuz it really is perfect for you.

This video is teaching us that brands like DUYP are outdoing the high end fashion houses as far as quality and versatility.
I’m team “return” the pochette Métis. Holding onto it may just be lingering stress knowing that it can’t be fixed. Hopefully this means LV can take note that they need to do better.
@@mjthegray based on my experiences and others, LV has their ears plugged 🤣 they love to say “it’s hand-made” but it’s ridiculous.

LV needs to get it together and fast! Customers shouldn’t have to deal with such noticeable imperfections just taking it out of the box. The bag is stunning and I absolutely support whatever decision you make but I wouldn’t be mad if you returned it 😂. On another note, I got a notice that my micro Paris 15 in dusty pink shipped so I am excited to get it (hopefully tomorrow) 🤩.
It’s getting very sloppy. If I shared all the issues I have had in a 2 month span, everyone would think I was crazed for spending another dime with them. (I kind of think it too) 😂

OK so full transparency I’m gonna keep it 100 as much as I love Louis Vuitton and their leathers that they offer. I rather get myself a quilted tabby or a Paris 15 from dress up your purse. These to me are where it’s at right now and Louis Vuitton should really tighten up on their quality issues. It’s just ridiculous the money that the consumers pay and you have to go through something like this. Love the color though beautiful however, I just don’t think it’s worth it to even keep it just my opinion. I Always love watching your videos so informative and by the way, you’re one of the ones that influenced me to start purchasing the envelope pouches from dress up your purse. 😊
Thank you for your honesty! I needed to hear all of the feedback that everyone left. I was not thinking clearly to even consider keeping the bag. I sent it back for an exchange. Before I did though, I compared it to all of my DUYP bags and it was utterly sad to see the lack of quality in the stitching. The audacity to charge that much for it. DUYP and Coach really are giving them a run for their money right now! I hope you are enjoying your DUYP pieces; they are my favorite 🤩
I’m so sad I missed out on the Pink Duo Paris 15! I started seriously looking into DUYP after watching your videos, then added the P15 to my cart but didn’t plan to purchase until the next morning…and it was sold out!! Sad I missed it by a few hours! :(

Peeling leather? LV really needs to improve their quality control! Dealing with such obvious flaws straight out of the box is unacceptable. The bag is beautiful, but not worth it with those issues. On a better note, your DUYP purchases are fab!
Unfortunately, yes. I think the way it was stitched had something to do with it. Since per their repairs department, it could not be repaired, I wonder what they will do with the bag now. 🤔
The LV bag is beautiful. I would return it because LV price increases are ridiculous & quality gets worse.
Thank you for sharing; I did return it for an exchange. Keeping it in that condition would have been ludicrous - infatuation just had my judgement clouded. If the exchange doesn’t go well, I will do without it for sure.

I’d return the pochette metis if I were you. It looks poorly made. In addition to the peeling leather, the stitching on the flap corners look uneven in the front. One corner doesn’t follow the edge of the flap as tightly as the other. Was it made in Italy? I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t also made in a sweatshop like Dior pieces since they’re under the same parent company.

I would say try to exchange if you love the bag , but definitely not keep. It will just get worse with time.

You are not over reacting…it is just something that bothers you. Just exchange as soon as you can and if you get another one, then great. If not, then I am sure there will be something you will like in the future.
