Pearlescent is something that looks like pearl. Iridescent is having different colors that seem to change from different angles.

It's Survival Evolved that just crashes as soon as I load in no matter what settings I'm on. And I've even deleted and reinstalled. It just doesn't wanna work on my PC
So taking a look at the wiki, these guys melee attack isn't that great, however I feel their true strength is in a support role in player vs player. They take out armor in just a few hits which is huge. Think of it; Sl1pg8r's armor is 575, when you apply the formula Ark uses for armor damage reduction which is: health lost = damage taken / ((4 x armor / 100) + 1) that means his armor divides any damage done to him by 24. So you take a primitive long neck rifle with simple ammo that does 280 damage then his armor would reduce that to 11.6666. However, a few hits from the Arthropleura and that armor is gone. Of course there is always the issue that most of the time players will be using dinos so it does reduce that ability's viability.
Apparently its other strength is as the next level of torpor damage after the pulminoscorpius. it has a base damage of 18 compared to the pulminoscorpius's 15 and has the same x3 multiplier for torpor that the pulminoscorpius has.

Hey Sl1p!!!!! I am way behind on your and Z's videos right now, so I am commenting on something Z said in one of his videos a while back. He was talking about ideas for the vanilla server and asked for some ideas. I really really wish i could do this, but there is no way i could grow my channal fast enough to make it work right. What if you Pvp server (vanilla) was actaully pvp like you said in your video. He was talking about just setting up a battle day with everyone on the server and than rolling back. But my thought on a fun thing to do is, once a month, week, or whatever works for you guys, you create a second, copy server of the pvp map. Then you all give give 5 or 10 of each of your Paytreons (?) the server details. For a week or two you let them play as either your trib mates or as a paytreon tribe. If they are playing with you its its each youtubers tribe vs all the others. Or you guys do Paytreons versus RUclipsrs. Of coarse is you do the second, they need time to build up resources and to try and work together, but im betting there will be issues with that idea.

It's the lystrosaurus, the arthropleura, and the calicotherium. The giant ground sloth hasn't come out yet just to let ya know. The ground sloth is the larger one and is dark brown. Awesome video Slip. Keep up the awesome work dude
Heya Slip, I know something like that cave glitch. Its in the chitin cave. I would show you if I could but I cant play ark anymore. So idk how I could show you. But its really cool, you teleport on the volcano side. lol
its pronounced arthro pevra. arthro is the greek word for joint(s), hence arthritis etc. and pleura (pronounced plevra) is the Greek word for 'ribs' or 'sides'. so arthropleura, jointed ribs/sides, there you go ;)

Late post but yeah that cave issue is a clipping/collision bug that you found, lol.
Common bug that happens a lot on many MMOs that slip past QA, unfortunately. I'm new to this game so not sure if they have a bug reporting function but if so can throw that in there to help em out :P

Slip it can climb any surface that is under 90 digress and 90 digress but I haven't tested the 90 digress because I play on Xbox and it's not out on Xbox

So how did you manage to get the fliers in there? I can get in but am dismounted not far in, unable to remount (then walk him back out to entrance to get back on). I tried walking the bird further in but whenever I try to fly I get dismounted and have to return to the start. On current 240.4 patch on an unofficial server.

Definately team pvp focused. Kinda useless for PVE, but in raids could be a game changer as they essentially debuff the enemy by removing their armor. Have a guy or two on these spitting acid over enemies and then let your heavy hitters get in there to mop up.

Arthropleura were herbivores and didn't have poisonus bites or venom, they were hardly agressive unless provoked, and could arch their packs to ward off predators.

2. It is damn hard to get Arthropluera OUT of a cave. Taming is not that hard.

For the record if you wear a full set of ghillie armor and stay prone. You can crawl up and passive tame these, bats, whatever. and they won't notice you until you touch them.
Sl1p why is it like the dinosaurs are named, like giganopethicus why not just gorilla, if you in anyway know why that is.
I'd say Sl1p that those are meant for support in raids & pvp think of them like support dps ;), pump HP & dmg and you got an armor melter of doom!

Try fighting land based dinos. Their bite is venomous so use them to knock out others dinos. I saw you got bitten by the first centipede in which you passed out soon after. Use that to your advantage.
their armor is Iridescent not purlescent, purl is extra glosy on a color, like whiteish glow on cream tan, Iridescent is multi colors being reflected off a surfice in different directions, that's how u see greenish blue in one angle and redish purple in a different angle
