Those handlebars on my Topstone gotta go. They took a touring bike, added goofy Woodchipper style bars, wide gravel style tires, and called it an adventure bike! Those tires went first, next came handlebars, and it became the bicycle.

Its crazy isnt it so funny really trying to convince people you need this or that type of bike.. and now everything's gone from needing aero back to lightweight comical.. I love steel, rim brakes, tubes.. Oh no I should be shot it's blasphemy, Im a dinosaur lol great recommendation on the Gilles Berthoud Gallibier saddle, I've now bought 2 brilliant :) Pete

Cracking rant- and pretty true too. Do we really need gravel bikes and bike packing bikes and all that carry on when we could have, as you have there, just bicycles.? Look no further than The Roughstuff Fellowship for guidance on what can be achieved with a simple road going bicycle, a sturdy Carradice bag and a pipe full of old shag tobacco. No fancy categories for those fellows! No lycra or Rapha guff either - just corduroy trousers and wooly hats smeared inside with a generous layer of Brylcreem.
No sponsor for the Hutchings channel though... t'is a poor show that for the number one channel for the discerning bike borne gentleman!
