THIS dude has jaw-dropping range. When he sang the "money note" of "Bring Him Home" on Britain's Got Talent, i teared up in shocked surprise. FANTASTIC voice.
His voice is perfection. Perfect pitch and absolutely mesmerizing to listen to. Love, love his delivery of this song. Beautiful:-) I've listened to this video so many times. Keep coming back to it...
Richard I saw you busking and I knew, I soooo knew you where better than the street life. YOU are amazing, I wish you all you wish yourself and more. May God bless you in all you do xxx
Yes please! I'm from the States too (Pa) and I wish they would come over here. They are incredible! Maybe after they settle everything and get their album established.
Richard stood out from the group Collabro.. ive admired his voice even before he join collabro..hope he succeed in this tough career of opera music.. with a touch of Pop style
The voice of a star on the way to super stardom with his fellow stars in Collabro. I see all the boys having solo careers in the years to come. Thank you Richard for sharing you stunning voice. I said you would win after watching your first audition.
Haven't looked at this for a long time and can't believe the amount of views and support it has received! Thank you so much for all your kind words. If you like what you hear go head over to my channel and subscribe. Lots of exciting stuff about to happen in the next few months!
+Richard Hadfield Honestly it doesn't have nearly the amount of views it deserves, your voice is perfection! The emotion that goes into your performances are unreal. Good luck with everything in life dude, hopefully I'll see a lot more of you in the future :)
Definitely the best singer on Collabro by far. He has a maturity in his voice the other 4 can't touch. He is capable of a solo career if he ever chose to.
He did choose. Where is he now in 2020? He left the group after they won BGT. He wants to sing swing, like Frank Sinatra, but his voice is better with this kind of music. You don’t have to understand the words. He just opens his mouth and golden tones come out.
Gloria Koch .. I ran across him about 3 weeks ago , late June 2020, on Instagram. He was doing a song a day for 100 days ( for cv shut-ins) and he was wonderful. He mentioned his swing bang and other gigs but Covid had everyone shut in so entertainers are out of work. Collabro also is on Instagram. I love them as a 4 piece but Richard added a richness to their sound. In my opinion, It took them a little while after Rich left to get their beautiful sound but they are doing great .....except for this awful virus.
No doubt one of the best in a long time, Richard is a sensational singer, Collabro was great but he could, at times "carry the show" as the old saying goes. I wish him a great solo career.
I rarely purchase music, I usually catch as catch can. I heard this magnificent voice and it touched parts of me I had forgotten, dreams, anticipation, joy. I am now on a hunt to buy everything he has ever participated in.
I don't normally comment on youtube videos, but I just had to express how much I enjoy this guy and the whole of collabro, they are absolutely fantastic, very talented group of guys, who've brought justice to the songs from les mis which is one of my favourite musicals
An incredible talent, and a lovely guy as well. In an incredibly hectic week for Collabro, Richard took time out to come along and see our choir rehearsal, and sing for us. Richards mum is a member of the choir :) Collabro will go far.
fireflysean His voice is so amazing and so much in control. Just you wait until he peaks in about 10 to 15 years. No one will be able to hold a candle to him. I'll spent most of my life in or listening to music. His voice is so rare and I heard some great voices.
My only thing is breath support on some of the softer notes or end of a phase. But I think eating before a show doesn't help. Difference in times maybe, I was taught never to eat 4 hours before singing; it was steak, dry potato, salad with lemon juice. Then just black coffee or tea, lemon and honey. Maybe a piece of beef jerky a hour before. He is improving daily.
My fave Collabro Richard ..way before he joined collabro i already admired this RUclips sensation guy who sang on the streets with his own karaoke... i truly admire not only his talent in superb voice range but also his perseverance to succeed in life.. his collabro exposures advanced him to the next level and i truly wish for this guys success.. he deserves it ... even one of the judges in BGT commented he had a beautifull voice of all...
Thank you, fireflysean, for sharing this with the world. What a thrill it kust have been for you to meet him and then watch him win. You have given us one more reason to love Collabro.
So beautiful. I picked him out as the most accomplished singer in the band. Whether Collabro make it or not this guy has a rosy future on the stage, he'll be snapped up.
I love listening to him sing............Which they could come to Portland, Oregon, USA. What a group of talented young men......Thank you for sharing your gift...I listen to you guys several times a week. God Bless
How an someone be that luck--looks like him and a great voice as well--then lets not forget his nice bod---what a total man! Did I mention that fantastic voice
I never understood why BGT told Collabro that the small blonde was the lead. To my ears, there were Two leads, Two pillars to this group who carried the operatic sound the most, Jamie and Richard. And they used to stand one at the left and one at the right, literally and metaphorically the pillars. So heartbroken that Richard is no longer there.
+Giuseppe Sarto Jamie and Richard were the pillars of singing ability, but it was Matt who had excellent star characteristics. Collabro without Richard is very lonesome.
Kamui I do agree with that. He shown more. The other two guys were low-key. I guess I appreciate that subtlety. And that talent was more important to me than the charisma.
I was surfing on RUclips videos and saw your audition for Britain's got talent. Tbh, my expectations were the same as the jurors', but, by God, you are all the real deal. The timbre of your voice is wonderful and soothing. I wish you a long and happy career in music, so that you yourself may take delight in delighting a large audience.
His voice is so gorgeous and expressive. How it is that he and the other guys in Collabro went so long without getting paid to sing for a living is beyond me. Thank you so much for sharing this! 'Empty Chairs At Empty Tables' is one of my favorite songs from the entire show, and Richard is now in my top 5 favorite performers of it. (This list also includes Ramin Karimloo, Hadley Fraser, and Lea Salonga, so he's in good company. LOL)
I hope they make it. Ironically, thanks to the likes of Simon Cowell and others who have flooded the market with badly sung pop the last 15 years, many with real voices and talent have missed out. I really do hope they make it.
Such an amazing voice.... I just found out of you and collabro and havent or cant stop listening. Is almost 2 hours now. Thanks for such a beautiful time. Greeting from Honduras, Central America.
I am fascinated by the human voice as an instrument. I get tired of "screamers" who attempt to achieve a range that is quite beyond them. Perhaps it would be a stretch to say that outside opera I have never heard anyone with such a fantastic instrument as Richard Hadfield, but not much of a stretch. I first saw him when he was a member of Collabro and from the first notes, it was as clear as could be that his was "the voice" of the group and I recall thinking to myself, "I wonder how long he will last with that group." Unfortunately, and despite talent, the musical world also depends on "promotion". While I respect anyone's admiration for an iconic figure, Frank Sinatra is a strange choice for him. HIs voice is nothing like Frank's as Richard's voice is something of a once in a lifetime asset. For those who happen upon this comment and have never heard him, you have a treat in store. For those, like me, who are already captivated, I can only hope that he finds a way to the great music loving public and the correct musical area where we can all celebrate his instrument.
Great voice and what a great guy he must be to take time out during a hectic week at Britain's Got Talent to go along and sing for his mums friends. Hopefully with a better fashion sense there will be an amazing career ahead of him all around the world.
I only found call abroad 2 weeks ago have bought both albums and watch your performances on bgt. Richard when you stepped out and started singing I knew the music world would never be same and I hope the news I heard on May 31st 2016 will not come to fruition you and your band are now owned by the world and are loved Work It Out Boys
There are a lot of people that have incredable voices out there. Collabro stumbled onto a special blend that made them special. I cannot beleive they abandon that magic so quickly.
Richard, you should be on Broadway. What an amazing voice! Gives me joy to watch you.
This guy is the whole deal: great voice, great projection and spot on theatrical delivery! Well done, Richard!
THIS dude has jaw-dropping range. When he sang the "money note" of "Bring Him Home" on Britain's Got Talent, i teared up in shocked surprise. FANTASTIC voice.
Merveilleuse voix repérée avec Collabro......
Merveilleuse voix repérée avec Collabro......

+Carolyn F. He just makes me melt into a puddle of the water.
#WeLoveCollabro #WeAllGoCollabro
Richard I saw you busking and I knew, I soooo knew you where better than the street life. YOU are amazing, I wish you all you wish yourself and more. May God bless you in all you do xxx
his voice is so soothing and not forced, sweet and tender...
By far the best male voice I have heard in a long time.
I am so taken by the talent of these guys. I would love to see them in the States.
Yes please! I'm from the States too (Pa) and I wish they would come over here. They are incredible! Maybe after they settle everything and get their album established.
They are great. I would also love to see them. From Boston Mass.
They need to come perform in NYC so I can see them!
I'd love that. I think they should come to NYC.
Pearl Joslyn From NYC to Boston. Love Them.
Richard stood out from the group Collabro.. ive admired his voice even before he join collabro..hope he succeed in this tough career of opera music.. with a touch of Pop style
Still LOVE this interpretation! And now I know you are on your own... All the BEST OF LUCK Richard! The best voice of Collabro is gone! :-D
The voice of a star on the way to super stardom with his fellow stars in Collabro. I see all the boys having solo careers in the years to come. Thank you Richard for sharing you stunning voice. I said you would win after watching your first audition.
I agree with you.
Still listening to this two years later. What a beautiful talent.
I never get tired of playing this over and over again.
Haven't looked at this for a long time and can't believe the amount of views and support it has received! Thank you so much for all your kind words. If you like what you hear go head over to my channel and subscribe. Lots of exciting stuff about to happen in the next few months!
We would love an album version or even more videos on your channel :)
+Richard Hadfield
If that's really you buddy words don't do your performance justice. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Richard Hadfield Your amazing big guy. Love the band. Glad you guys found each other!
+Richard Hadfield Absolute perfection. Not a note off key and perfect emotion.
+Richard Hadfield Honestly it doesn't have nearly the amount of views it deserves, your voice is perfection! The emotion that goes into your performances are unreal. Good luck with everything in life dude, hopefully I'll see a lot more of you in the future :)

I checked some of his singing. I think he would do best as a singer in musicals as he is allround but not as solo, he lacks the edge in an own style.
I wouldn’t say by far. No denying he has a beautiful voice but all the different tones from the five made them wonderful together as a band
Thank goodness Collabro won BGT!! They so deserve it, such a glorious sound!! Cant wait for them to produce albums!!
No doubt one of the best in a long time, Richard is a sensational singer, Collabro was great but he could, at times "carry the show" as the old saying goes. I wish him a great solo career.
oh my goodness - what a wonderful rendition of an amazing song. next stop for collabro ---- world domination! richard you are truly superb!
Wonderful! Richard. I am so sorry you could not stay with Collabro! Keep growing. You will do fine!
I rarely purchase music, I usually catch as catch can. I heard this magnificent voice and it touched parts of me I had forgotten, dreams, anticipation, joy. I am now on a hunt to buy everything he has ever participated in.
What a nice voice!
I really like his voice , very unique

Incredible voice Richard could listen to you all day

Thanks for sharing this and he comes across as being a really nice genuine guy.Great voice and such a range as well.
As Scottie said, thank you for sharing this, Sean. Richard has a magnificent voice.

So do I, David. This is the stuff which should be successful not the formulaic 'color by numbers' rubbish which masquerades as music today.
I could listen to you all day.
Such an amazing voice.... I just found out of you and collabro and havent or cant stop listening. Is almost 2 hours now. Thanks for such a beautiful time. Greeting from Honduras, Central America.
He is so good! So glad to enjoy his God-given talent.

Great voice and what a great guy he must be to take time out during a hectic week at Britain's Got Talent to go along and sing for his mums friends.

Nice comment, until the catty-claws came out at the end. Really necessary?
