You would think after the time Simon and the audience demeaned Susan Boyle with eye rolls and snarky looks then had to eat their words that they would stop judging contestants before they perform.
@ I’m not so sure how real the reality really is. All the pre performance interviews with videos of people’s lives certainly seem as if their appearance on the show is planned.
@ Oh yeh! The audience are just as much performers as the acts themselves. The way the AV team just “happen” to zoom their cameras on the eye rollers and commenters???

It’s all done for show, for ratings. Everything is planned nothing is spontaneous.
