Percy Sledge was the original artist. Austin (lead here) and Adam(beatboxer) killed it. This was done during Covid so I thought the use of tvs was clever. So good. Good reaction Dad and I subscribed.
Austin killed this. Percy Sledge would be so proud! The background harmonies are excellent. Adam's beat boxing is excellent. He has won championships. Love your reaction!
Austin nailed it. He gives himself completely here and also plays very well with the cameras. The great harmonies, deep bass and the unbelievably freaking good beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds finish it all off for me. I think it sounds perfect because of all the different beautiful voices. I grew up performing Percy Sledge which I already loved. Then came Michael Bolton's performance where I couldn't say it was better. But this one from Home Free certainly is.
Keep reacting to Home Free you won’t be disappointed :) The harmonies and Adams beatboxing in this song were mesmerizing!! Not to mention Austin’s voice WOW!! Great reaction🎉 I love Home Free😊
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
Love hearing Austin belting!! Song suggestions:. Hillbilly Bone, Country Fried Pop, Love Train, Walk The Line, Folsom Prison Blues and Land Of The Free which was written by Tim
The original was sung by Percy Sledge in the 1960s. Austin was singing to his girlfriend who was in the studio just off camera. Those loving looks are genuine. This was another homfredian gem the Home Free men did during lockdown.
Austin did justice with this old Percy Sledge original. Recorded during Covid shut down and they all recorded from home. Austin recorded this in the studio.
Austin put his lovely lady Amberly next to the camera. So all those flirty looks were for her. If you watch the video for Brother you will see the beautiful lady and understand what inspired this performance. She is also featured in Between A Rock and a Heartache.
OK, you''ve got a new sub! The respect you show my favorite group here, Home Free, has won my heart! So do me a favor, and do a reaction to their cover of Listen to the Music. Then please react to Everybody Walking this Land. These men mean every word of that song! You have to hear it to understand. Some other ones I'd like to see your reaction to is Hillbilly Bone, the Butts Medley, Brother, My Church, and finally after all these, you will be ready for Mayday. It's an unwritten rule you have to react to at least 8 songs before you're ready for the confusion of Mayday and becoming a Home Fry! LoL Thanks for your great reactions, and looking forward to watching you fall into the wonderful rabbit hole that is Home Free!
I've always loved the late Percy Sledge's original (not so much Michael Bolton's - I thought it rather over-wrought). I think Mr. Sledge would approve of Home Free's version, it's easily as good as the 1966 original. The beatboxing, the harmonies and, of course, Austin tour de force singing were simply perfect. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
why do I feel old because every time someone says they don't remember who did it originally because I remember it because I was around then. yelp I was a teenager in 1966.
So love this!🔥🔥🔥 I love their version better than Michael Bolton’s! Of course how can yo beat the fact that it seems that Austin is lookin straight at you with that adorable face and those looks he has on his face when he is singing into the camera!❤❤🥰. Love your reactions!! 👏👏🔥
Never really liked this song. Still don't like the song, BUT the boys killed it. Perfect backing harmonies, exceptional vocal percussion and Austin just flying off into the stratospnere like it's normal. Ha!
Austin nailed this song what an amazing group of men.. Love you Home Free you're my Boys 🏡🆓🏡🍟
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Austin was born to sing a song like this. Also, this was done during lock-down. Their beatboxer is world-class. He sounds like a complete drum kit!
AMAZING! HOME FREE KILLED THIS!
❤️😃🍟🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a performance!!! Austin’s lead is beyond compare and the harmony and percussion from Adam are so on point. This was done during quarantine. ❤
Love this one is my all time favorites from Home Free. Thanks for posts your reaction. Have a wonderful day. 😊

When he hit that opening, you KNEW it was going to be great. Austin doesn't often get to belt like that in HF, and he does its so well.
Masterpiece! AUSTIN KILLED IT!!

I can't remember if you've reacted to them singing Boyz to Men End of the Road yet...but Rob goes gospel... it's amazing! 😊

Percy Sledge wrote and sang the original. Austin did a great job with this.
Adam swallowed a frigging sound board! 😂

Percy Sledge
Original was from Percy Sledge, 1966.
If you get a chance, go see them in person. It’s well worth it!

He was actually singing to his lady Amberly who was in the studio, but he is a master at flirting with the camera.
🖒😎
