The Arduino Nano is a small & breadboard-friendly based on the ATmega328P Chip. It has more or less the same functionality of the Arduino Duemilanove but in a different package. It lacks only a DC power jack and works with a Mini-B USB cable instead of a standard one.

Thanks for the awesome video!! I always wanted to make myself an Arduino board. You made that possible without leaving much difference between the original and DIY Arduino Nano!!
3:02 - That method is so convenient. Whenever I soldered smd components in the past I used to balance a big blob of solder on the tip of my iron and drag it across the contacts of the chip. Shorting became such a frustrating problem

@@Nematics_Lab although it's more expensive to make one of these yourself, it's good for soldering practice and understanding how the components work together. Well done!
it costs more than a china duplication (about 2$). This costs about 5$
Because it offers FTDI if I use CH340 it will cost same
IT's not as fun though. You spend $3 to solder the parts on yourself, and you even change the board configuration or modify/add/remove parts to improve it yourself. Buying a china copy is static. Possibilities here are endless, and as mentioned, more fun!
Very nice but this is like what 5 to 10 $ per Arduino nano replica? You can also just buy a arduino nano replica on banggood for just $3 ;)
It's fun if you do it by yourself and get to learn SMD soldering
You get better quality and it is a fun experience!
