Hedging is not used to make profit. It's to save from losses without selling your position.

Its not always necessary fii made positions for speculation too u have to all round analysis to check positions are made for speculation or hedging

You have mentioned that Nifty is independent variable and shares are dependent variable. Please explain this, because nifty gets its value from the value of its constituents shares not the other way. How can nifty value be independent of its constituents shares value?
Nifty is affected by average of 50 shares. However, when nifty goes up or down, market sentiment drives price of shares.

U can't short in equity
If you identify a price action zone, you can buy and short with 2 different demat account at each critical points, where LTP is close to either support or resistance. And in case there's a breakout, you can do the same there also. Just make sure you analize properly and set stop loss accordingly.
This is valid for only day trading, as in Indian market, short is allowed for 1 day max. At the end of the day, any short position will be automatically closed.

U have to buy put option having delta = 1 itm put strikes have delta =1 if u think premium is high then buy otm but u have to buy more lots then to proper hedge. For eg otm put strike having delta .25 u have to buy 4 lots. Note - from ur spot point and the strike u bought is ur loss locked and profit is current price + premium paid above this is ur profit
