    Import and Export settings saves basically every setting to a file in case you hard reset drivers or do a clean install. Its very useful when dduing or clean installing as I can get all my color settings, hotkeys, misc settings and individual game settings in 1 click. I think it also saves and applies gpu tuning profiles, but I save those individually and reapply them through the tuning tab.

    Radeon Chill is actually good tech for Japanese games... When they capped fps for 60. Like a new game Wo Long for example. If you put 60 fps in game without Radeon Chill you will meet with stutters. If you capped 60fps in Radeon Chill then all good. That's why these tech are so important for those kinds of games.

    Another great video and a much needed update to a topic. Thank you so much! So for my personal experience, I play mostly WoW (World of Warcraft). I learned that Radeon anti lag is so important. I raid sometimes and do mythic dungeons. It's so frustrating to die from a mechanic that you think you're not in, but still get hit by it. The setting does exactly what you think it does. MMOs and this setting are a must. I can even see competitive fps games. As long as your internet is fine and you can't blame that, then pop on anti lag. You'll thank me later

    21:11 Freesync + enhanced sync + 144 hz cap rivatuner, eliminated screen tearing completely and works better for me tho and i need that 3 extra fps because my ocd doesn't let me to 🤣 , in gta sa if you just use freesync and cap the fps to 141/144, game felt choppy af and if you enable enhanced sync, it gone buttery smooth, pretty awesome feature, oh yeah sometimes radeon chill doesn't works in somes game so i'd use rivatuner instead 👍, thank you Fabio for comprehensive explanation

    • @AncientGameplays
      @AncientGameplays  Год назад +5

      What eliminated your tearing at 144Hz was enhanced sync, because you were having frame fluctuations that would lead your FPS over your refresh rate, enhanced sync took care of that.

    Image Sharpening It's great. Because I have a 4K TV and I set FSR performance in the game. Then I set the Sharpening in the game and if it's still too blurry, I adjust it via AMD Redeon Image Sharpening. Or I'll just use it, because after all some games on a 48 inch tv aren't very sharp.

    I like Radeon chill, sometimes I just leave games running in the background and chill makes it render at just 45fps so the fans don't make too much noise while as soon as I start moving it goes back to 75 which is my monitor's maximum frecuency.
    Also image sharpening can introduce a lot of noise in already detailed games, I struggles with grainy shadows in Re4 and it was caused by that function.

    Did I miss it or did you not mention the custom fan curve options?
    You can disable zero rpm and set custom curves, also on a per game basis. Very nice feature to regulate noise. Especially since its based on junction temps. I often find that there is no temp benefit above certain rpm - eg temps will be 75c junction on 50% fanspeed, but only 73c on 90%...not worth the extra noise at all.

    I do love the performance gains of these new GPUs, but I must say I was disappointed in the results of power draw for the performance due to Radeon saying how power efficient they are.
    Off topic a bit, but their Zen 4 lineup is especially amazing in regards to their efficiency when tinkered with.

    Your video helped me so much!! Playing at 1080p, fsr and rsr are terrible blurry options. I have always had problems with TAA antialiasing or any other types of aa having to choose either blurred or horrible jagged "straight" lines. Just found out about Radeon image sharpening that helped so much omg
