    Thank you Michael. On your point about visibility of links between two projects ; if you run a relationships report, and then run an activity report and combine them in powerbi you can get a quick way of highlighting all the logic links between any number of projects. I tend to use a chord diagram for this.
    I also have a question, as when I have made a baseline of a project and then restore that baseline to make a monthly snapshot, my logic links between projects tend to get duplicated. Is there a way to avoid this?

    How would you use Reflections for interlinked projects? Is this even possible, as normally you can only create a reflection one project at a time?

    Hi Michael, if you link two projects. when you do an update for a following period does the project ID have to be the same or does it look at activity ID only

    Do all projects have to have the same schedule settings? Like retained logic? What happens if one project is retained logic and one is actual dates?

    • @PlanAcademy
      @PlanAcademy  Год назад

      Projects have their own Schedule settings - saved with the project. So unique settings for each project if you like.

      @@PlanAcademy sorry, I meant when creating an IMS. If I have say 4 projects that I need to combine to make an IMS, do they all need to have the same schedule settings? Same DD and same schedule setting (i.e retained logic)

      Hi Michael, nice video. Do you know how to deal with this P6 message: "There are multiple projects open which have conflicting scheduling options. Do you want to schedule all open projects using the scheduling options configured for ....?" ? I guess it is a bug.

    Hello,
    Just one question, what about the progress line in case of multi projects ? If the baselines are set at the same date, is it working ?
    Thank you !
    Armand

      Progress is line is calculated per activity, so it should work when working with multiple projects. There is a setting for it. Right-click in Gantt -> Bar Chart Options -> Progress Line tab. Most popular is to set it to compare current / baseline "Finish Date".
