I'd honestly kill to write a show about a tcg. There are so many people, strategys, and much much more that can translate into a good show like Chaotic. Like rouge deck strats, playing that in a tournament arc makes an underdog chacter.
Thats probably why i like dungeon world and legend world in buddy fight since dungeon world are all about a party and completing quest cards i think they even had a rock paper scissor spell card you can use and legend world i forget the gimmick they had other than alot of legends cards with dragons and swords but its a fun tcg that bushi road did not handle very well here in the west. I enjoyed buddy fight more than vanguard since it was easier to fallow as a card game and had fun adventures.
Peytonic Master at the time was the only way I could relive the old days and rewatch Chaotic episodes. I still remember the first Chaotic episode I watched. The one with the 4 tribe race. Hopefully we see the show return in the next 5 years. If there's no update, I would guess it's comeback didn't work out.
I hope they make an app game, another cartoon series, and for it to be popular again. Although I’m not that worried, card games and stuff always end up popular. There just happens to be a few speed bumps.
They already made a comback as kaijudo, as a series it was really good but the card side didn’t sell so they cancelled the series ans announced it would continue it’s story through the cards and then died a set later. Well in the west in japan it’s still an on going series with it consistently ranked as one of the top earners beating out yugi and vanguard most of the time.
@@SleepyNubis their was even a new anime for dual master like last year or to years ago like dual master zero i think it was called.i still own all my cards and a store had a bunch of kaijudo single color decks on sale so i like bought all of them since i think they were like a dollar each so i now have like 2 blue,2red,2green,2yellow and 2 purple decks i think ill have to grab them lol
Both times Duel Masters was tried in the US (both the original and Kaijudo) it was sabotaged by Wizards of the Coast horribly mismanaging it in favor of MTG. Imo the only way we could ever get Duel Masters to work in the west is if another company makes a clone of it.

Thanks for the second shout out in your videos man! Most of the other staff at the Chaotic Discord and I think that Covid is the biggest factor on why nothing public besides the show being put up on the official channel being done in 2020. (That we know about) However from the information that Dragonix (someone who was working for the Chaotic company for a time) has given us things are definitely happening behind the scenes. It's to really bad I haven't heard from Bryan since the interview though.
I remembered watching Chaotic in my childhood days. I never fully understood how the game operated but the story was great. I will admit that the lore of the tribes, the individual monsters has their quirks and personalities was a big reason why I watched it. Hell now that I think about it, maybe that's why I liked Future Card Buddyfight as an anime since world building and character development and interactions can make or break a series
It is sort of amusing, as recently I was thinking "Chaotic sure was awesome, whatever happened to it?" So I read it's TVtropes page, and found your original video and was hyped! And then not much else was floating around, so sadness. And then only a few days later Bam! This video pops up in my recommended videos. And now that I know the official Chaotic youtube channel, off to binge me a good nostalgic show, and hope the game makes a comeback online as well, 'cause I may totally play an online version of this game! Heck, they could probably sucker me into buying an MMO adaptation of Chaotic. Going around as a human in Perim to build your deck of locations, creatures, battle gear and mugic to then use in player versus player battles? Amazing and very difficult to make, so go out there and hype people up for Chaotic's (hopefully) inevitable return so the people behind it can do badass things!
I loved watching Yu-Gi-Oh and Chaotic, after Chaotic, in 2015, I started watching a new card game anime called "Buddyfight" and, just like them, I loved Buddyfight too. Now it was cancelled 2 years ago but now I find out Chaotic is coming back after 8 years, that is just awesome! Here's to the future and hope it soars high! Thank you for the update sir!
Not to long before you posted this video I had already started sharing Chaotic with my little brother. He loves it!! Thank you for telling me about Chaotics comeback and where to watch it- love your videos, glad to see I’m not alone in my love for old cartoons.
The manager at my tabletop store near campus told me that he was sure if chaotic stayed around it would have overtaken MTG. He said in the hayday it was huge in this city and a lot of kids where liking it better than Yugioh and MTG. I was a fan of the show and a bit disappointed when I heard it was cancelled. I kinda wished it stuck around long enough to gain more traction.
The game is actually solid game design compared to Yugioh OR Magic. You actually have to take into account things like positioning and movement as well as individual unit's abilities. It actually makes you think in a more fleshed-out strategic way, whereas with the previous two card games you are just essentially playing the card game "War" with extra rules.
@@StarboyXL9 Mtg has activated abilities, triggered abilities, passive abilities, and even is complex enough to make a Turing machine in it. Seems like you kind of didn't really give it justice in that comparison

Something that I remember from the show that I really liked was what was happening in the world actually mattered even though the main characters could come and go as they liked. Getting scans of creatures at different times mattered and that characters actual health mattered to how good the scan was. The stand out example that I remember was that a character was sick when he got scanned and during the course of a battle that sickness that transformed him actually happened during the battle for the scanned version as well. I really like that the world building actually mattered.
I have such a strong childhood memory of this show and it took me years to find it again, and man I’m thankful that I did. I had no idea that it was a real product, just that it was a really cool idea.
This is a good video. I tried to get into Chaotic back in the day but nobody in my area played the game. I still have stacks of cards from packs I bought. I don't have a lot of the cards I want especially Overworlder cards but I got a decent collection. I used to play online despite the website freezing or crashing a lot. I hope the game makes a comeback. Chaotic has the potential to be a big name game like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering.

I'm so glad I found this video a friend of mine actually gave a chaotic shadow warriors game cartridge for the DS and I was wondering what chaotic was all about. So this video realy helped. I enjoy your videos so ya earned a sub my guy . Some cartoons/ franchises I suggest would be magi-nation , Redakau comquer the kairu , or Kaijudo rise of the Duel Masters .

WOTC tried that before, renaming it Kaijudo. It lasted a few years before WOTC decided it was a lost cause again (due to their horrible management of the game) and stopped production and support

The anime is still ongoing, vy that logic they’d have to bring it to the west and it won’t work cause they would have to re release all the old stuff and over a decade of new stuff we never got. This is a card game first, series second
The show for chaotic reminds me of a show called Redekai has anyone heard of it. It had a similar premise of turning into the monster and collecting cards if I remember correctly
Good video :) I'm optimistic I check up on chaotics status about twice a year just to see what's happening - I was really young when I started and barely got to get into the card game I just collected them for fun. Hoping everyday we get 2.0

I would change one thing about the show, instead of the kids dying forever if they die in Perim, how about, if they die, they risk losing important items that they have on them..... or if they die, they have to wait 8 hours or so before they can log back in..... OR ...they have to wait 3 hours but risk getting brain damage if they keep dying in Perim way too many times..... If Chaotic were real, I'd be too scared to go to certain parts of Perim out of fear of dying and never ever being allowed to explore Chaotic or Perim ever again, and I'd get depressed.

@@zerokura Yep! The online card game AND the Wii game! But I don't recall if I've played any other. Both were actually really fun. I wasn't any good cause I was still a kid then but mannnnn it was really cool stuff. I never did find the 3D models in the online game that the Starter decks showcased though. I guessed it was just promo art.
They should at least release the online or a mobile version of the game. That was one of the best things about it. It was one of the good online card battle games at its time. Although buggy, it did have a lot of the mechanics automated for users. Which was huge back then when both Magic and Yugioh were very basic in their online games. A lot of it was very manual and like the physical game, there was a level of rules lawyering that could be done. Chaotic actually showed and did all that complicated stuff long before any digital versions of other card games did. It's really too bad they got caught up in all the lawsuits, they were ahead of the market in their time. Now all their innovations have become standard and Blizzard even one upped Chaotic on the flexibility of online play with Heartstone. Though they still have a market. Kids and players still love the idea of turning their physical cards into playable digital copies. And besides for Magic players, a lot of card game fans have been burned by the digital only collections. If Chaotic doesn't try to milk their fanbase with forcing them to double dip, they can bring a lot of attention back to their online game with having a strong physical market.
Just saw a random vid pop-up on my youtube today with a Chaotic episode and was like "Aw shit, I remember that show it was so good," and now I hear the game is coming back and might be getting a continuation. Damn. Just fantastic.

honestly i totally forgotten that this even existed because at the time the show would come on in between airings of yugioh and pokemon and other anime and cartoon shows at the time and for me it was basically forgotten XD

If chaotic got a VR version I feel like THAT can get it off of it's feet. Everything is getting a VR rendition and feel like FIGHTING in VR as chaotic characters would be a real game changer. We already have games in VR with different maps, gliding and flying in other RPGS in VR. It would take A LOT of time but going into the world of Chaotic in VR would be AMAZING just would need a pitch idea and I GAURANTEE people would play.

Chaoitc is an amazing show that ended too soon. Also, I prefer the unique animation style from the first season. I am so happy to hear that this show has the potential to come back. I hope they put it on Hulu or Netflix, or just keep it on RUclips for free.
One thing about this video that I was really happy to hear was that they are planning on releasing the fire and stone set. It offers more assurance that the og cards will still be usable and that will be a good way to help people get back into it.

Chaotic was one of my favorite shows on Jetix, when I was little and was waiting for one of the other shows that were my favorite and Chaotic came on I WAS HOOKED. I collected the cards and just excited. And then Jetix was over, no more cards. I thought it was a fever dream, I was young, no way that existed ( A lot of shows felt like a fever dream) but when I found it when I looked it up on google and youtube I was SO HAPPY. And now it’s trying to come back?!??!?? I CRIED AND IM STILL CRYING. This is exactly what I need since I’m going through a hard time, but the feeling of idk nostalgia? It’s amazing. Please release chaotic again I loved the show and collected cards, never really played it cause didn’t know anyone else who knew about the show but I would love a new release

I'm so glad I found this video a friend of mine actually gave a chaotic shadow warriors game cartridge for the DS and I was wondering what chaotic was all about. So this video realy helped. I enjoy your videos so ya earned a sub my guy . Some cartoons/ franchises I suggest would be magi-nation , Redakau comquer the kairu , or Kaijudo rise of the Duel Masters .

WOTC tried that before, renaming it Kaijudo. It lasted a few years before WOTC decided it was a lost cause again (due to their horrible management of the game) and stopped production and support

Leave it as an anime. If it's going on the Hub, it's going to fail. Simple as that.
The anime is still ongoing, vy that logic they’d have to bring it to the west and it won’t work cause they would have to re release all the old stuff and over a decade of new stuff we never got. This is a card game first, series second

The show for chaotic reminds me of a show called Redekai has anyone heard of it. It had a similar premise of turning into the monster and collecting cards if I remember correctly

Good video :) I'm optimistic I check up on chaotics status about twice a year just to see what's happening - I was really young when I started and barely got to get into the card game I just collected them for fun. Hoping everyday we get 2.0

I would change one thing about the show, instead of the kids dying forever if they die in Perim, how about, if they die, they risk losing important items that they have on them..... or if they die, they have to wait 8 hours or so before they can log back in..... OR ...they have to wait 3 hours but risk getting brain damage if they keep dying in Perim way too many times..... If Chaotic were real, I'd be too scared to go to certain parts of Perim out of fear of dying and never ever being allowed to explore Chaotic or Perim ever again, and I'd get depressed.

@@zerokura Yep! The online card game AND the Wii game! But I don't recall if I've played any other. Both were actually really fun. I wasn't any good cause I was still a kid then but mannnnn it was really cool stuff. I never did find the 3D models in the online game that the Starter decks showcased though. I guessed it was just promo art.
They should at least release the online or a mobile version of the game. That was one of the best things about it. It was one of the good online card battle games at its time. Although buggy, it did have a lot of the mechanics automated for users. Which was huge back then when both Magic and Yugioh were very basic in their online games. A lot of it was very manual and like the physical game, there was a level of rules lawyering that could be done. Chaotic actually showed and did all that complicated stuff long before any digital versions of other card games did. It's really too bad they got caught up in all the lawsuits, they were ahead of the market in their time. Now all their innovations have become standard and Blizzard even one upped Chaotic on the flexibility of online play with Heartstone. Though they still have a market. Kids and players still love the idea of turning their physical cards into playable digital copies. And besides for Magic players, a lot of card game fans have been burned by the digital only collections. If Chaotic doesn't try to milk their fanbase with forcing them to double dip, they can bring a lot of attention back to their online game with having a strong physical market.

Just saw a random vid pop-up on my youtube today with a Chaotic episode and was like "Aw shit, I remember that show it was so good," and now I hear the game is coming back and might be getting a continuation. Damn. Just fantastic.

honestly i totally forgotten that this even existed because at the time the show would come on in between airings of yugioh and pokemon and other anime and cartoon shows at the time and for me it was basically forgotten XD
considering there is now A OFFICAL CHAOTIC RUclips PAGE TO WATCH ALL THE EPISODES. i consider that some good news. bring in the analytics, get them eatured!

If chaotic got a VR version I feel like THAT can get it off of it's feet. Everything is getting a VR rendition and feel like FIGHTING in VR as chaotic characters would be a real game changer. We already have games in VR with different maps, gliding and flying in other RPGS in VR. It would take A LOT of time but going into the world of Chaotic in VR would be AMAZING just would need a pitch idea and I GAURANTEE people would play.

Chaoitc is an amazing show that ended too soon. Also, I prefer the unique animation style from the first season. I am so happy to hear that this show has the potential to come back. I hope they put it on Hulu or Netflix, or just keep it on RUclips for free.

One thing about this video that I was really happy to hear was that they are planning on releasing the fire and stone set. It offers more assurance that the og cards will still be usable and that will be a good way to help people get back into it.

Chaotic was one of my favorite shows on Jetix, when I was little and was waiting for one of the other shows that were my favorite and Chaotic came on I WAS HOOKED. I collected the cards and just excited.
And then Jetix was over, no more cards.
I thought it was a fever dream, I was young, no way that existed ( A lot of shows felt like a fever dream) but when I found it when I looked it up on google and youtube I was SO HAPPY.
And now it’s trying to come back?!??!?? I CRIED AND IM STILL CRYING. This is exactly what I need since I’m going through a hard time, but the feeling of idk nostalgia? It’s amazing. Greatest news I heard all year 😭
