I believe that creativity is a constant exploration of process. Giving yourself permission to try out new things and be ok with it (success or failure) is what makes it so exciting - to me anyway. I frustrate myself with unfinished projects, but I see the point of them, and occasionally I end up with something I love. I love how artists change and evolve - that's what art is. Some creatives find their little box of style and stick with it because it works, but I personally find that very limiting. Looking forward to seeing your adventures! :)

Absolutely know exactly where you're coming from and will be following your progress. I think many of us need to take the plunge and move on with our creativity. I love experimenting anyway. Glad you have found a new pathway to follow and I'll be right behind you. Thanks 🤗👩‍🎨😘

Thank you for sharing your Art journey. I am stuck in grunge, dirty paper, and old stuff. I know it is time to progress. Thanks for the inspiring nudge.

I think you would love Sandi Hester's videos and style. She does the same style still lifes and landscapes. And she's hysterical!

I'm so excited to see what you do with your channel! My art is changing as well. I follow alot of ppl that are still painting the same thing 3 years ago. It's refreshing to see others move along and be inspiring for others.

Yes!!! I totally agree! I always wonder whether they’re creating from joy or obligation or whether they even know. It’s so liberating to just do something new without feeling like you owe anyone a particular art voice.

I’m a new subscriber and I’m very pleased to see you are going to paint more. The first video of yours I saw was the bird paintings, it was fabulous, and I loved what you did. I watched a few other videos, which were enjoyable as well, but I felt that you were….I’m trying to say this in a way that doesn’t insult anyone because that is definitely not my intention! But you seemed cramped? The painting components were obviously, to me anyway, where you excelled, and where you seemed to be more happy and loose and joyful ❤I hope this doesn’t sound rude!

Seems these ideas are flowing with a lot of artist I have been following. Are you familiar with Sandi Hester, Bits of an Artist Life. You and she seem to be flowing in the same stream of artist creativity. I just found your videos and have subscribed. Thank you for sharing the process of your art change.
