I realize this is a year old, but I just loved listening to you Rachel and your sister, Sarah. I would love to visit Italy someday. My mom went on a cruise tour a few years ago. She loved her trip. I love all of the things you make. You are so talented. I think I could watch and listen to a video for as long as you could tape.
Loved every minute. Don't you worry about a video being long. We hate when it ends. So glad you are getting a nice visit with your sister. When your sister creates a new crafty bit you can call it Sister Sarah creation.
Thanks for the Italian history lesson. I like it when you talk about Italy. It’s a place I’ve never been to and know little about. What’s most interesting is daily life there now. After a short amount of time sight seeing all I really want to do is talk with the folks that live there. Loved the tags. Crafting along with you as you and your sis visit.
Loved your crafting time with your friend. I keep learning so much how to make things and now a little lesson on Italy. 😊 I’ve been making spring Easter tags while listening/watching you. Thanks.
What an fun video love listening to the sissy's crafting and giving history lessons. I so love hearing your travels and all about its history it is so fascinating. Thank you for sharing your inspirations.
I found you during Covid quarantine so today I’m thrilled to see an older video with your sis. You have been a brilliant light during our difficult time. Thank you from Canada. Blessings
I like this way to use your scraps espically Sarah's playing card one. they are all very nice. Both you and Sarah are very talented. Thank you for being you !! I always keep even the smallest scrap to be used elsewhere. I've made diagnel tags with both my small scraps and larger scraps. They turn out beautiful
Really cool little embellishments! Oh & a name for sister Sarah’s: “S’embellishments”, of course that’s French & not Italian. Maybe you could make a similar phrase in Italian! It was so nice to hear you guys bouncing ideas off each other, I liked your squeal when you saw the one where she used a playing card! I’m going to round up some of my grandmother’s cards! AND I LOVE it when you delve into history (much better than a dry old guidebook!) If I ever get to Italy (don’t worry about that, haha!) I’m going to talk you into hitting the roads with me! Oh boy, we would have fun! Well, that’s a nice thought! Thank you again for sharing your video with us, they’re never too long! Since this video is already at least 2 years old I won’t wish your sister safe travels, instead I’m hoping she & the rest of your Aussie relatives are safe & sound while the pandemic is still wreaking havoc. Blessings to all!
I watched Gayle's video, Sarah's video and yours- all so different - but the same. Fun to see all the differences. Everyone puts their own little touch on them- and they are so fun and easy- anyone can do it!!
Love love love your videos. I did some scrappy embellishments and that's all I want to do now. Hahah so much fun. From North Carolina, USA. THANKS SO MUCH.
Had a little chuckle, because I’m sitting in bed atm doing exactly the same thing. Such and easy and relaxing crafting job. Also thinking how lucky you are to have a sister who is interested in crafting and you can craft with. I’m 1 of 6 and not one of my siblings (or parents) are interested. Sue 💜
Art, craft & journals I have 3 sisters and we all sew. I knit and crochet as well but only I sister knits but none of the are interested in paper crafting but they and my two brothers do like receiving my cards
So many enjoyable things about this video Rachel! Firstly, crafting with your sister....fun! This is such a great way to use up scraps and I adore your style (Sarah’s too!). You two made me laugh. I would love love love a process video on your fabric scrap roll. Tell Sarah I’m heading over to check out her channel ❤️.
So fun! Loved the scrappy embellishments you both made and really loved the tags!! Thanks so much for the multiple mentions! I was absolutely delighted to listen to you two doing the sister giggle! How lovely for you two to have such special time together! Big hugs to you both! ❤️
Thank you so much Gayle! It was fun to have Sas here. I’m thrilled she’s decided to go ahead with a RUclips channel! Hopefully she’ll find time to do many videos!
Thank you for helping me, I now will be making some pre made back grounds for my small images! I love to make journals and am forever looking for a way to use scraps for ephemera.
I kept seeing funny things happening here. First it resembled a restaurant buffet where you just choose a bit of this and a bit of that. Then it became a card game. You would discard a scrap and a hand would appear and pick one up. What fun, and the results are so very nice.
Love watching your process videos. Beautiful results I got my sister doing some collage with me over the holidays as well this past season. After this visit you and your sister will have to coordinate your crafting times and post a joint video!
love your tags and hope you have a great trip, having your sister around to craft and sew with brings back many sweet memories with my own sister, also love the history information, tfs, leanne
Fun video gals!!!. Sorry to hear that Sarah is leaving. I will be sure to follow her videos & buying from her Etsy. You girls have great stuff.!! TFS sweeties lol. Toodles
I loved watching this video and did appreciate tbe tourist guide of Italy (not having travelled and I have postcards of Pompeii brought back from WW1 by my grandfather). Great tags. I have subscribed!
Hi, if one was to visit Italy during April and/or May next year, what craft-type places, markets, etc, would you recommend as great to go to? Might make it to France also if you know any there. Thanks so much.
I have really enjoyed your videos with Sarah, especially the dirty street challenge. Had me laughing 😂 I would love to support her channel, what is it called?
Hi Deborah, I’m not an expert but I think ephemera is things like receipts, letters, tickets, old images and so on. Embellishments decorate something so you can use ephemera to embellish 😂! That’s how I interpret it😀

Hi, if one was to visit Italy during April and/or May next year, what craft-type places, markets, etc, would you recommend as great to go to? Might make it to France also if you know any there. Thanks so much.
Hi Elysia, I'll be doing a blog post soon about things I recommend. I'll probably mention it on a video when it's up.
I’m sitting here pointing at scraps of paper trying to get you to pick it. 😂
Oh I wish I could see! i hope we agree, lol! Thank you so much!

Nice work
To save more time you could keep them all together until you are done stitching them all then trim them assembly line
Forgot to ask, where do you get your amazing images??
Thank you so much! I find many on the New York Public library and the biodiversity site
I have really enjoyed your videos with Sarah, especially the dirty street challenge. Had me laughing 😂 I would love to support her channel, what is it called?
Thank you so much Gina! That was super fun!
Lol while the nerve. But I fell into the same thing in Mexico. Pressured.
this probably seems as a silly question, what's the difference between ephemera and embellishments?
Hi Deborah, I’m not an expert but I think ephemera is things like receipts, letters, tickets, old images and so on. Embellishments decorate something so you can use ephemera to embellish 😂! That’s how I interpret it😀
Pretty Tags :}
Thank you so much ☺️
hello love, what is the name of your sisters youtube channel???
Thank you so much! Her channel is ruclips.net/channel/UCaWy5IKKOIR1Iruwzk3QqWw
Unless you scrap they have no idea how much time is invested in your work. Same with quilts.
😭horrible torture. But I agree with Sarah I wouldn’t want to be a Prostitute
Sarah what?
Could be my sister, I can't remember.
