Imagine having to keep that silly smile on your face while you tickle the ivories, all the while just wailing away with both feet and trying to catch your breath?! Great job Jo Anne
Best honky tonk player ever, love her smiles & the way she looks around ,either fellow players or audience, she brings such joy to my life. Thank you so much Joanne for all your many years of bringing your wonderful talent to us all
@@cheric35 I looked into it more. She always played live BUT, sometimes went back and re-recorded in post-production. In this case, she played the song live but then they played the record version over it. Very interesting how they did things before computers!

Used to watch Welk’s show when I was a kid. Always looked forward to Joanne Castle. She was great.😊

What brilliant entertainment from years ago from this great pianist Jo Ann.

Jo Ann was her usual bouncy self and Neil Levang was as smooth and debonair as always.
Who is that tuba?
Linda!
