Climbing Romanias most beautiful mountain with my dad. [Engl. sub]

For my dads 60´s birthday we decided we decided to climb the whole ridge of the piatra Crailului mountain in Transylvania in a two days trip. This mountain is sometimes considered the "transilvanian dolomites" as it consists entirely of limestone and is characterized by steep and dramatic ridges and cliffs.
From our hometown Brasov we took the train to Zarnesti where we headed into the national parc and climbed through the old growth forests to cabana curmatura. From here we took the climbing route to the ridge via Vf. turnu and followed the whole ridge up to the highest peak "La Om" and from there to the village Fundata.
We ran a bit out of water and hed to help ourselves by eating tremendous amounts of blueberries and cranberries.

Rumänien ist einfach Klasse, war schon lange nicht mehr dort, wird Zeit, eventuell nächstes Jahr mal wieder. Deinen Papa kannst du ja überall mit hinnehmen, der ist unkaputtbar! Schönes Video!
