Bushcraft in Carpathian mountains - Making Bucksaw and Axe, hiking oldgrowth forests

Are four days trip bushcrafting, trying some things and exploring the old growth forests on a ridge in the mountain forests of the Făgăraș mountains in Romania.
Due to my pain in my knee, I was not able to descend into one of the wildest valleys in Romania, but therefore found a very old hunters path.
Those flies were absolutely getting on my nerves. The true survival was to not become totally insane, surrounded by them.

Great Video! The terrain that you explored is awesome and that flat patch that you found to pitch up your tent was a perfect spot. I could sit out on the side of that mountain with the small purple flowers and just enjoy the view all day long taking everything in that nature has to offer!

Sehr interessant, das mit den vielen Fliegen. Auch wenn es dich genervt hat, aber für mich ist das eher ein Zeichen intakter Natur.
Ich war 1990 einmal im Schwarzwald wandern, das erste mal im Westen, da summte nichts, da flog nichts, keine Insekten, nur sterile Restnatur. Ich war schon damals erschrocken, wie das sein kann und kam nur auf die Erklärung flächendeckender Pestizideinsatz.
