Thankfully there are movies and videos that can be revisited. And another also you may not believe, I never knew of Alan Rickman until I saw him in Harry Potter, as I was not a big movie fan, so now I do have the excitement of going to find and acquiring the rest of his movies, stage work and anything else I can. What a huge talent that will be missed.

I too, discovered him as Snape in HP. This was last October. I read the books and saw all the movies. I fell in love with his magnificent portrayal of Snape. I think Snape is a beautiful character. Then I started looking up and watching anything I could find by Alan. I was heartbroken when I saw that he has died. I've watched, purchased, and rented over 90% of his works.
