We went in high school. I was so excited I made my parents go and later I took my brother and daughter with a friend. My daughter held the tour guides hand the whole time. Later we went to eat. After we ate the waitress said your meal was.. Your meal was... Your meal was... And your meal has been paid for. The waitress paid for my daughter's meal because she looked so cute and Bavarian. Lol. She was born in Hessen.
@@DTVDanielTelevision You mean Walt Disney was inspired by the castle, not the other way around. This castle predates Disney. It was actually heavily inspired by german medieval "Sagen", which where stories of knights and kings saving women, fighting for the country and being heroes. King Ludwig II. of Bavaria wanted to feel like a medieval king himself and ordered this castle to be built to escape the rather boring reality of his duties as king of Bavaria. King Ludwig wrote many letters about his inspirations for this castle. I've never heard that Cinderella was mentioned in those letters.
Technically, This inspired sleeping beauty's castle not Cinderella's...The Alcazar of Segovia was the main inspiration for Cinderella's...sorry ❤...Disney fanatic here

It's crazy how Ludwig is related to this lineage
Cinderella inspired castle?
This castle was inspired by Walt Disney when creating the iconic castles of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty
