Another edition to this enjoyable and creative series! As with the previous videos in the series, its layout immediately grasps the viewer's attention with the opening score. Its overture of panpipes and flutes, from forty-five seconds to the two minutes and forty seconds mark, is woven into the sequence of the provides the video with a gentle, flowing pace.
This evoked a sense of marvel, curiosity, wonder and also reflection, causing the audience to feel as though they are experiencing and exploring something altogether new for the first time.
However, one of the two aspects that distinguished this video as unique which you referenced well was its timeliness, with its emphsis on holidays, rather than seasons, being filmed around Christmas time. The designs of both Glowtle and Luminsect, being ironically based on fireflies and Christmas lights, broaden the horizon of this series.
The other key element was your use of contrasting locations, as exemplified by the design of Menhiss. The comparison and analysis of the environments and weather conditions of the west coast and east coast of the United States broadened the perspective of the series a way its seven predecessors could not allow, as they were exclusively set in and around New York.
All in all, a carefully constructed video, implemented with great sensitivity to genre without forsaking its original points. Good job, Ron! I look forward to seeing more!

The Pokémon company gave him the cards. Maybe one day he’ll be a part of the team, but he won’t be able to tell us about the designs he does so he might not be happy.

Kinda cool that you made a hummingbird Pokémon and a Christmas light Pokémon in the same video. Because in the winter time often hummingbirds get confused and think that Christmas lights are actually flowers filled with nectar. Thought I would point this out for y’all.

Menhiss is truly awesome and is absolutely something I would want to use in a playthrough. I tend to quite like serpentine Fakemons, though, so maybe I just have an affinity for that sort of thing.
Luminsect is fantastic, too!

I think a reptile, the one that inspired Heliolisk, with a palm tree crown around its neck would be cool. Maybe its tail could be the body of a palm tree that it stands on to scout its surroundings like Sentret and as camouflage when hiding from predators.

Ron, Menhiss (Tropical) Form would be perfect for Alola or the southern half of California while the (Deciduous) Form would make sense for Unova or the northern half of California🐍🌴🍂
I was thinking, for the ghost type Menhiss, the sound it makes could be a low crackling that would become a bellow as it echoes throughout its hollow body.
The snake palm tree Pokémon looks like an African Bush Viper with its keeled scales. I like that.

It boggles my mind this dude doesn’t get more views! Has such insightful look when it comes to Pokémon and has sooo many good ideas for when it comes to videos. And to top it off has a really soothing voice. Deffs my fav poke tuber!!
I really love this series of videos, you come up with some great designs. I’d use any of these ones really. I’m thinking if I had to choose specifically I’d use the Ghost form of Menhiss along with Luminsect (great name btw), who specifically I’d probably just stare at during battles as the color changes lol.
