Even as someone who has bullet journaled for a while ,this is SO useful! I never though of making a master Index ... I can add that to my long-term collections journal! and make it detachable. I feel like I'm cheating the system, mwahaha, so thank you!

Love this, very helpful! I use tabs and washii borders for each month in my regular bullet journal, but I use an index for my reading journal. Not every book gets the same number of pages as I review them, so I like being able to find a book I reviewed quickly without flipping through the whole reading journal . I don't divide my reading journal by month anymore as I found I had a bunch of books that spanned more than one month.

I use dot markers to indicate importing thing I want to index. It works for me in summarizing the week and month. Great info! Thanks!

I don't find indices helpful at all. I already know where to find a month and its weekly pages. I can easily index my collection pages. I put them at the end of my journal. Sometimes I write a note that I will want to find later, but I don't know what to call it in the index way up in the front of the bujo.

I also don't use an index for this reason! Though sometimes when looking back on old journals I wish I had included one 😂
