Playing the NEW Ovation Ultra Acoustic Guitar!

- I got my hands on the new Ovation Ultra - released at NAMM 2022. Here are two songs I came up with to showcase its acoustic tones. Geared for the singer-songwriter, this guitar has a comfortable super-shallow bowl, streamlined preamp with an onboard tuner, and an Ovation under-saddle pickup.

Showed up with the expectation that all ovations sound like plastic toys, and that first song proved me so wrong. Amazing clarity and tone, matched with perfect playing. Changed my mind about these guitars real quick
Severely underrated acoustically. I have roughly 20 Ovations, and only use them acoustically. They're fantastic.

You make that guitar sing! I've always have an ovation. Are the new ones better that the older versions? I have at this moment Ovation 2077 LX custom Legend from 2007
the guitar set up sounds soft to the fingers, strings does not sound stiff. great playing 🤟

Hi - thanks for your kind comment! Yes, I feel that the neck profile is slimmer than on a conventional acoustic guitar. That's what I enjoy about playing an Ovation - it really feels like something like no other acoustic guitar can offer in terms of a playing experience. Thanks again
