TVL must be a candidate to be remastered. Given how DTG did two supplementary DLC for the route in the Class 31 and the Class 20. Two things I'd like to see implemented is the Pacer as a substitute for the Class 101, and the PGA Limestone Hoppers actually(!) go to the Limestone Terminal.
GWE, and tees (being my childhood local), were the routes that convinced me to buy TSW and get back in to train sim for the first time in years (Last time for me was way back in the days of MSFS!!) so it has a special place in my heart - Very much looking forward to the remaster/revamp :)
It's good to see Great Western getting some love. I still play it when I want something short. I had to start a new profile when TSW4 came out, and it seems I've only done 600 odd miles in the last year or so, but this update will give me an excuse to put a few miles on it again.
Well, the GWE remaster looks good (providing they fix the 5X03 task that instantly derails 😂). The 387 is interesting. Does this mean full electrification to Reading? And if so, a GWR 800 series? We shall have to wait and see.
the blue door on the 20th is reminiscent of the dark grey/blue on the SWR trains. Could we be getting our first SWR route? The Class 350 is similar to the 444 and 450 and the 710 is similar to the new Arterio trains. So all they'd need to do is bosh to gather the map and re-theme some of the train models and it's good to go. South Western Main Line is such an iconic route, especially with Waterloo. I'd also love to see a Kings Cross to Peterborough leg for the LNER. One thing I'd also love to see one day is the Euro Tunnel, and MAYBE also the TfL Jubilee Line with the iconic traction motor sounds, either that, or a line featuring the new tube stock
That's my thought for the Class 86 and Mk3s being carried over to another route. Add the Mk2 DBSO, then as another DLC do a NR test train with Class 37+DBSO and you've got a DLC that can realistically operate on most current day routes (much like the RHTT).
Looking good this. Me thinks that they’ll either announce the release date of this on 20th or a complete new route altogether. They should remaster the very first Amtrak route from tsw 2020 forget what it was called
I’ve got to be honest GWE has never been my favourite even though many rave about it? I find it quite boring with its straight wide multi tracks. Hopefully this remaster will fire up my enthusiasm more for it?
Yeah Somerset route came out really well after rework. Sand Patch Grade deserves some luv the first route because it probably still is the most challenging route in TSW due to the savage hill climb and complexity of running multiple motors
Could be a distinct possibility as WCR use Southall as the primary centre of operations in the South. A more realistic engine shed at Southall was shown on an earlier article.
So glad this route is getting a revamp. I’m hoping to see West Cornwall Local have a revamp as well
I'm hoping for tees valley next

most definitely

I know its a remasted but it wouild be nice if they did a extended the Great Western mainline to swindon
I reckon the special door on the 20th might be either the release or release date for the ATS Manny airport line
yeah..
I'm looking forward to the updated GWE. I would also love to see my two favourite BR routes, NTP and TVL revamped
Yeah both those would be excellent candidates

Literally can't wait for the GWE remaster, I'm hoping they'll remaster NTP next

Dec 20th ?
Knowing Dove Tail’s recycling of Rolling Stock.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we get GEML London Liverpool Street to Colchester.

@ Of course the Test Train I’d forgotten about that one.
Good idea.

NEC New York not Trenton
I’d love Ruhr Sieg Nord and Peninsula Corridor to get this sort of treatment.
let us hope a we can put a livery on the 166, also fixed the cab windows not being able to be put down.
I actually forgot there was a reveal scheduled for today😂

I think they could remaster most of the early routes and people would play them. After all you can only play one route at a time.

Love a Trans Pennine remaster or Tees valley
I was waiting for this upload 😁

Not sure if they have said anything about that as yet
@TinTin_57 alright thanks
Do you know if TinTin_57 will have the jubilee on Railtours in the timetable? (In NEW GREAT WESTERN EXPRESS DETAILS)
Not known at this time
