Yes, a lot of their character is what it is because of their hard past being immigrants, but let me tell you that they represent the mexican nature. We (I'd like to think me too) are all very welcoming, we share everything and help everyone no matter who they are. Yes, we may have a very dark humor, but that is our way to cope with shit that happens to us. Thankyou for representing!! I'll FOR SURE go al Momo if I ever get to go to L.A.
@First name Last name they are everything but tacos, there used to be a taco bell in México city , it closed after 3 months , taco bell its the worst example of mexican food 🤮
This is exactly how my grandpa raised my dad and how my dad raised me. Always make more than enough food and anyone is welcomed. I learned early that it’s not a common trait among people to always offer more than necessary even if you can hardly afford. I grew up around many people where you had to watch how much you ate so that there was enough food for everyone and I wasn’t raised with money at all but my dad was always the opposite of that because his dad taught him to be like that. I learned it was rude to offer food if you couldn’t offer it to everyone and have enough for everyone. Next time I’m in SoCal, I will definitely stop by this place.
Its food like this that makes me proud to live in Los Angeles. Ive tried some popular street tacos, and even made a top 10 list on my page, but somehow i never heard of this place. It shows there are surprises on every block!
Exactly thnx to RUclips I've discovered taco spots I never would've without it. Most ppl are aware of places like king taco & taco gavilan which are ok but nothing beats a street taco or mom & pop shop. I haven't been to all the taco spots like ave 26,Leo's taco truck or tire shop those 3 I wanna try well now 4 with momos but the 1's I have that were on my bucket list were los poblanos which I highly recommend especially the asada & the chorizo. Also tacos 1986 they were a bit pricey but I think they were good at least good enough to try once. Will I go back cant say really but not in a hurry to.
I cannot wait to try these when I move there in a couple of months. Doin my taco research 😂 Not only because it looks amazing, but because of how beautiful and humble this family is. Viva Mexico! Viva El Momo! ❤️

A perfect example of people working hard, staying humble and reaching for that “American Dream”.
These are the people that make America great.
These are the people that show their love by putting wonderful food on a plate.
Muchas Gracias por todo lo que haces.
May God always watch over them. Proud to see my Latinos out there prove that nothing can stop us.
Watching these in late 2020 I hope all my street food icons are doing well during these hard times...
Bro, after this episode. “El momo” is about to have a line around the whole block 🙌🏽
It already does. Vice is late. If u a foodie in LA u know about their tacos. They sell out quick so u have to come early.
@ wtf are you even talking about?
Mike Swartz If you died, in 3 months no one would care. Guaranteed
@ fuck you...

Had to take a trip and try the tacos after viewing the video, must say I was not disappointed, tried both carnitas and Birria tacos.. my mom who is a carnitas lover said they were the best in the LA area!!
If people want to know what a REAL Gente are, show them this family...that’s a true representation of what a Mexican family is like
, to the bone
Also. Just like Asian families. Tight knit, hard working, and love our food!
@@RockstarEater You got it right brother. I spent a good many years within walking distance of that street. The attitude/culture in Mex is simple, kids 1st and always support your immediate family and extended.
I love how his father learned from his father, then taught it to his children, family tradition at its best! Love it!!!
These really seem like amazing people. I absolutely love mexican immigrants. They really appreciate everything and they make amazing food.
I want me a Mexican wifey.

You can tell his parents live unconditionally and the love they express mirrors that philosophy. Feeding those that are hungry simply because they are hungry. Truly appreciate to see business owners displaying this kind of love and gratitude to their customers. I hope they have infinite success for many generations to come.
World needs more people and family's like that
Much love from Canada

I’ve never met a Mexican who doesn’t eat tacos. Your parents have a great feel good story. Saludos desde Chicago
@Miguel Ornelas I am of 100% Mexican parents. I know what you mean hermano.
Decent, hardworking families like this are the literal backbone of America.
and the backbone of Los Angeles.

They're a great family, I know them personally and are very selfless

As I am someone who is Filipino and has family and friends that are Mexican (like all my friends are mexicans), I always applaud and appreciate their hard work and tenacity. They are not only they are humble, but they treat me like I am family and I couldn’t ask for more from my homies! Much love! You guys are a different breed!
Eyes are literally watering right now...You ever see people for just a moment and feel like you've known them for your whole life? I wish all the luck and happiness in the world to this little familia!

Beautiful! Keep spreading the love. I’m from Miami but all Latinos should be united when it comes from common struggles of working hard, family and trying to make it in a new country 🇩🇴🇲🇽.
Mr. Romulo Acosta reminds me so much of my great uncle whom I was very fond of when I was little. I can't help but tear up. I miss him so much. I hope this family continues to move upward in success and that they stay happy and healthy and their business to prosper always.

Guys if y’all are ever in Los Angeles got to this spot you won’t regret it! One of the best tacos I have ever tasted hands down!
Que familia tan chingona, dios los bendiga!
People who dislike this think taco bell is mexican 💀
First name Last name not real tacos
@First name Last name 😂 he doesnt know lmao , you should try his tacos in LA so you can know what a taco is
Im mexican af bro but you cant go wrong with doritos locos tacos or a mexican pizza 😂
First name Last name if you think tacos are hard then they are not tacos and maybe they are flautas or tostadas
These are the type of people America needs more of!

Rockstar Eater when you try it. Come back & tell us how they were! Looks really good!
@@DeeBee7O7 i will see if I can get around to it. I ve tried Avenue 26, which was awesome. I have a video of that!
So Cal is the melting pot of the melting pot, I feel so fortunate to live here ❤️
