Great informative video.@ 13:50 I noticed you double down the players 11 and the dealer had an Ace, the basic strategy card says to hit, not double. even though the hand was a winner the 212 better would be down $30 more , so instead of $190 it would have been $160.

You’re reading a different basic strategy card then.

Watching all these videos and personal experience. The things that kills any system. Positive or negative progression is the double downs and splits. With that said I’ll only do a system on Freebet blackjack. With free splits and double downs they level out the odds with the push 22. But systems biggest risk is the big double downs or splits. Was up so big this one with 2-1-2 and lost huge on a double down.

This was Great!! Really enjoyed seeing the outcome! And I, as well is Also shocked that the flat better actually had more money at the end

The couple bad results from the big double downs killed the 212. Personally I think flat better should have been flat betting two units ($20) since that is that 75% or more of the 212 hands usually are. The variance in the regression and pushing winning streaks is where the 212 should show an advantage. Just not this time. Actually this time the flat better would have been even better off. They would have come out with an $80 profit it looks like.

Losing double downs and splits are definitely game changers when it comes to progressive systems! You either love it or hate it haha. Crazy how flat betting lower still made more money this time around. Will look into increasing the flat better in relation to the progressive system average next time!

    1. Don’t take Blackjack advice from anybody who still needs a Basic Strategy card
    2. Testing a betting strategy requires thousands of hands over hundreds of hours. The results of a few shoes are meaningless
    3. Every single betting strategy (other than card counting) has been mathematically disproven by professional players and computer simulation
