Dapol class 52 D1062 Western Courier with DCC SWD sound and EM1 speaker

- A project I’ve been meaning to get on with and the ballasting on the main lines complete, I thought I’d go back in time and fit a SWD class 52 Western sound decoder in my limited edition Dapol D1062 Western Courier, stuck an EM1 speaker inside to see if I can get a throaty sound as it accelerates, definitely sounds better in the flesh compared to my phone, EMT HST runs past too,

😆 cheers Richard but a bit of an impulsive bid for the western and won it! My Xmas pressie is the Accurascale EWS class 92 but that went up in smoke 🤭

@@CHESEABUNnot really sure mate, was fine on the programming track, renumbered the address and put it on the main track, nothing! Sound Decoder was red hot so I’m guessing it’s shorted 😢

@@CHESEABUN hope so, I’ve run it on dc and everything seems fine, been in touch with Accurascale and they’ll send a replacement sound decoder once mine gets to them, all in the hands of yodel at the moment 😬
