A fan took a screenshot of the eggs and tweeted it out to Gordon Ramsay asking him to rate her boyfriend's eggs. Gordon's response was "Get back on tinder" and this interaction was really what launched the whole Mark and Eggs joke lmao. So him writing a whole song and even namedropping Gordon Ramsay is HILARIOUS
Okay so basically (for anyone who doesn’t know) a while back a fan took a picture of an egg that mark made and tweeted it to Gordon Ramsey saying “my boyfriend made eggs, what do you think?” And Gordon replied “get back on tinder!” So it inspired this song 😂 Also the end where he says that random quote and he goes “wait.. what does that mean?” He’s basically picking a joke at himself because fans always say that he posts really like funny “profound” quotes on his Instagram with like random pictures (after he says the quote in the video he takes what looks like an Instagram picture) “The possibility of that being possible is just another possibility that could possibly happen”- Mark Lee 2019 It’s pretty funny

I knew the concept was going to involve eggs because of the article SM released but I didn't expect to actually like it this much. He turned such a silly thing like not knowing how to cook eggs into a really good song. "I don't know how to cook eggs [...] cause I've never been hungry" TALK TO THEM MARK, he is and always will be booked and busy. Also the bit with him talking towards the end is I'm pretty sure making fun of the people that always make fun of him for his "insightful" instagram posts they say he "doesn't make sense", that's why he ends it with "but what does that mean?" and a chuckle.
And egg shells were part of his SuperM trailer back in 2019 and his t-shirt design when 127 did the collab with SlowAcid. This is a long running theme and I love how he embraces and plays with the idea. His writing is so witty and playful here and his laugh... it always kills me :D
