I think I detected someone applauding the driver for his successful completion of "the manoeuvre"! Well deserved if so ... If you look at that location on Google Street View, you can also see vehicles carelessly parked around that bend.
Yes fellow passengers sitting downstairs applauded the driver. He did a brilliant job or maybe he was happy to show off his driving skills 😄. Thank you for watching and commenting
I love Sheffield for bua journeys, the reason being is there are some very steep inclines or hills both in the city and outside and so it helps add to the variety and the people in general are good, decent people.
I like Sheffield too, it's hilly terrain is attractive to me as I love hills and mountains. Walking in Sheffield is a work out in itself. Thank you for watching and commenting
I can imagine that any bus driver, one of the most valuable items you could carry in your "kit bag" would be a good set of sunglasses, particularly for driving conditions like this.
That bus stop past the manoeuvre needs repositioning ... He turns off the main road and does a loop back onto it again .. if the bus stop was put here 54:50 things would be easier...I doubt anyone uses that stop now each house there has 2 or 3 cars. The bus shelter could be removed providing more much needed parking space.
I saw the superb manoeuvre by the driver, however the thing that really annoys me is the ignorance of the local people who must know that a bus is regularly having to turn in there, but yet they still park their vehicles there, while there's obviously some kind of bay or area where a good few cars could park in the centre of the grassy bit. Some people just don't think or give a damn about anyone other than themselves.
By these do mean manoeuvres or bus rides? Both on my channel. But unfortunately I never noted manoeuvres in my previous videos so you will need to watch to find out. The next video has a manoeuvre but not as good as on this one. Thank you for your comment

Sunglasses would be useful when driving facing the sun. It's not a good view for filming too. The return journey was as if it was a different day

Good point. Opposite is a pub/ eatery too so that's probably why there are too many cars parked on the road. Thank you for your comment

Are there any more of these? I grew up in Oughtibridge, and went on the 57 towards Stocksbridge for a long long time.
