I love Plan G. My only concern is that the new Administration might privatize Medicare. My friends have told me horrror stories about their Advantage Plans.
@@Dbb277-2 Sorry for the delay, I don't seem to be seeing all comments. Your Part B premium is based on your income. So, if it has recently changes, you definitely want to file this form: www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-44.pdf It may take several weeks to several months, so definitely go ahead and file ASAP. They may be able to apply retroactively, but the longer you wait, the more complicated it can become. Thank you for your question!
Only thing I dislike is if you want to change to a different plan - in my case F to G, have to go through underwriting even within the same insurance company. Also something I have to consider if move to another State - premium may be rated higher based on medical history or outright denied. This year does make economic sense to switch as the "deduction spread" has widened, but 3 hospitalization and advanced test last year tell me not to submit myself to underwriting. But that is not a problem with Plan G (or F) and it was nice going to an acute care clinic following a yardwork accident today (the squirrels won) and no charge, other than $5 for the Part D antibiotic.

Medicare Advantage Plans are not often our number one recommendation... Time will tell! Thank you for your comment!
Is there a time period for proving lower income? Or can that be done at any time?
Do you mean for your Part B premium?
@ yes. Not making what I was five years ago. It’s income based?
