If anyone is disappointed and/or disgruntled by the fairness of this process, please do yourself a favor, stay home, and make more room in the theaters for those of us who actively support Halle Bailey and the rest of this gifted cast of actors portraying these nostalgic characters, especially my girl Mellisa McCarthy from my hometown of Chicago as Ursula. I am ecstatic to witness the stellar adaptation of this timeless classic!

I was so happy when they chose her as Ariel. I thought it was perfect and could not understand the hate, still don’t. But what Disney IS doing, is changing lyrics to iconic songs that don’t need changing bc they want to appear “woke”. Then they insist on making demonstrative characters hyper realistic to the point of being creepy (the other sea creatures). My young daughters were freaked out and then straight up started laughing when they saw Sebastian and Flounder. I am so upset about them doing something like this that could further compromise Halle’s career by making changes and making a laughingstock out of their own movies knowing full well what the complaints were about The Lion King. I hope she can rise as a star despite Disney’s terrible choices.

I just purchased Under the Sea from the new soundtrack and it sounds wonderful to hear Halle Bailey and Daveed Diggs sing together, and of course a couple unknown voices which might be background sea creatures.

I think shes incredible. As a mother of a 12 year old daughter who grew up watching all of my og disney movies and then the remakes, its incredibly important to me that she sees a princess is anyone and everyone!!! My daughter doesn't look like "every normal girl" but she feels beautiful knows she is beautiful and finds so much inspiration watching other young woman get out there and pursue their dreams. She loves to sing and I always sung this to her when she was young. I definitely cant sing well, she is decent but it doesnt matter we just have fun singing together. Cant wait to see this!

As a mother of a 12 year old daughter who grew up watching all of my og disney movies and then the remakes, its incredibly important to me that she sees a princess is anyone and everyone!!! My daughter doesn't look like "every normal girl" but she feels beautiful knows she is beautiful and finds so much inspiration watching other young woman get out there and pursue their dreams. She loves to sing and I always sung this to her when she was young. I definitely cant sing well, she is decent but it doesnt matter we just have fun singing together. Cant wait to see this!

Halle is a breath of fresh air. Her countenance & soft spoken voice will put a smile in our face. She's very talented. I was in tears when i saw the first trailer hearing Halley's voice singing. It was beautiful. My 2nd sister & i watched the little mermaid every saturday morning. Ariel is my favourite disney princess.

I wish they would brighten the movie. The lighting isn’t good. I hope you can make out everyone in it, but I’m excited overall! Halle is literally Ariel and they couldn’t have picked anyone better!
