This is exactly how I felt when we got Brandy as Cinderella I’m so glad that a new generation of kids get that same experience with Halle being Ariel.

I’m a full grown woman and I even teared up when Tamron “turned the doll into Halle.” Love how the one girl so excited depicted difference between the character and Halle and so appreciated the excitement and wonder of it all.

It warms my heart to see Hallie being so sweet and kind to fans like these little girls who look up to her. She’s so humble. Not many young celebrities are like this! Others out there can be snobby and self-absorb.
And in return for her kindness, there’s haters who do nothing by complain and judge her based on her looks. Basically trying to make her feel bad about herself. It’s such a shame.

This girl was born to be a star! So graceful, humble, kind and ridiculously talented. Can you remember the last time a young star was this graceful? I cannot imagine anyone else playing her, and I'm so thankful Rob Marshall picked her, and not some untalented star.

As a child, this was my favorite Disney movie. I turned 37 on 5/17/23. Representation matters and I'm excited to have a beautiful, gifted character that looks like me in my childhood favorite movie! I'll be in the theater, maybe more than once to support!

This was so wonderful to see these Beautiful Babies get to live out their Disney Princess Fantasy. Halle is Truly a Princess (as is her Sister Chloe). This moment almost makes you forget about all of the hateful comments Halle was getting attacked with (even though I'll never forget). She floated right to the top and is shining like a True Star ✊🏾💗

Halle Bailey is magical. Not only is she a terrific actress and singer and does an absolutely fantastic job as Ariel, but just look at and listen to her with those kids. This is for them and they love her and she's wonderful with them. What a perfect choice for Ariel!

I wish this segment was longer. I know live tv is unpredictable, but I would've preferred hearing more questions from these young ladies, than the mundane questions Tamron asked Halle in the next segment about her dating life and her fashion choices. I hope they got a chance to spend more time with Halle later.

That was very sweet and attentive of halle to answer the breathing question the way she did. The first girl couldnt seperate her from the character so she was confused about the technical answers.
