I bought my gold coins in 2018 and 19 for around 1300. In the past year I had some serious dental issues I sold 8 of 1 ounce gold coins to pay for the bill. I 100%. My gold and sold 8 coins for 2300.00 a few months back.
When the dollar is collapsing even if you pay high prices it's better than worthless paper
Only thing I've done is trade silver bars for constitutional & upgrade raw pre33 for MS slabbed.
Your channel is always good , you seem to keep an open mind on comments and issues.
I try
2500 oz for gold I'm on hold for the moment. Who knows, this might be the Good Ole' Days ? That's why I keep watching.

I Sold some Silver & Gold to upgrade my beautiful home, that’s why I stack weight for the future just in case of repairs around the house & retirement & children future. I could always buy more weight any day of the Week!!! 🥈🥇🥈
I've sold gold and silver once and that was when I was in the middle of a divorce. Sometimes you just need the money so you do what you have to do. That said I bought back much more than I sold years ago now
I backed into a car that was illegally parked on the road in a no parking zone about 20 feet from a stop sign. The doctors office parking lot spots are setup to back out into the road so when I was backing up my backup camera didn’t catch the car and the hill I was on was setup perfect for an accident to happen. Both parties had Allstate and decided her part will pay for hers and my insurance would cover mine but I decided to go out of pocket and used some of my stash.
I'd have no problems with 100oz bars, I just need to be comfortable knowing where to resell it, local dealers today are not happy on taking in kilos and greater.
Premiums are low on them right now. I’m buying wholesale right now spot -.50.-65 depending on the maker.
I've probably mentioned this before, but I pay my weed/shroom guy, & my barber with silver. My tatto artist with 1/4 oz gold & I tip my bartenders with 90%...get the word out 💸
I sold metals and payed off two cars and some credit cards to go debit free!

Enjoyed the somewhat random topic podcast. 😃When you get into the 100 ozt silver bar size, wouldn't it be better to get 1 ozt of gold? Maybe the premium is lower on the silver, but is the spread worse since the larger silver bars may be more difficult for dealers to resell? Matt got a good deal on his Mercedes G wagon. 👍

If you're on a budget you want to buy as low as possible especially if you're looking to try and make some money off of what you buy also if you are buying to resell ask your local coin shop dealer how much is buy back for certain items so that you can make the most out of your purchases in the future

Haven't really sold any of my Metals to buy something else. Using Gold and Silver as a 'last resort' type of savings. Got out of debt years ago and paid cash for our property. Been accumulating savings & investments ever since. So things would have to get pretty bad to cash out of PM's. Now, I have sold in the past, just not in any significant quantities. Bought at the low $20's and sold Silver after it broke $30 recently. The money is still sitting in a high yield savings earning interest. If we get a pull back on Gold, I'll be looking to buy.

Well, this was around the time of the car shortage. My old car kept having engine issues and I didn’t want to dump more money into it. I liked the vehicle I was going to get, I had the money, so I bought it. Just because YOU don’t see the value in it doesn’t mean I’m less intelligent for buying something I worked hard for and had the money for.
