    You don't have to take the motor out to change the cord. But cut the wires before you remove the bracket to pull out the cord out or you could pull the wires out of the motor.

      RAM Transport LLC I did it that way bro and it honestly isn’t worth doing the job all awkward just to avoid taking the motor out. I re-did it and took it out of the housing just so I can use my helping hands to hold the wires up for me and get a proper solder. Just had to remember to put the wires through the bottom of the housing.

      Great video bro. I had the same issue with the soldering tip till I did a little research and realized that the tip was full of oxidation so I either had to replace it or clean it really well with a brass brush till it completely exposes the copper. Finally, you just wet the tip so it lets out the heat properly. Thank you for the video.

      Green wire goes to ground. The screw that holds the switch down.

    How you doing, love the video was really great and informational. I wanted to know if you would know any reasons as to why my masters would just stop turning on all together. One day I plugged my masters up, flipped the switch and nothing happened. No power, no noise, nothing. I took them apart looked at every component I could and I still can figure out why they won't work. I wanted to know if there is something else I should try before resorting to changing the power cord. These clippers are fairly new and don't have any ware or tare on them from years of use. I hope you will be able to help me out, Thank you. Once again nice video !

      I would try and look the the power switch and make sure everything is connected there if not then just swap the cord it’s like $10 on amazon

      If a master doesn't come on it's a bad cord. If it stays on it's a bad switch.

    Damn... I wished you would have shown how to get the screw back in for the cross member bar (I think that's what you called it)..
    Probably the reason why you skipped it.. I at least feel better that I'm not the only one having problems with that..
    Overall, great video tho.. Thanks..

      @@nickguerrero5184 My lord I really wish he didn't mention to loosen the cross bar. I like others, unsrewed it completely by mistake. I finally figured out to back out the big screw on the side and I was able to screw in the cross bar screw.

      To get cross bar screw back in place use the metal hook its a tool for the screw on the side (w the 2 holes) Once removed it move the spring back into position so the cross bar screw can be put back into place.

    @robertholdsworth837 5 лет назад +1

    He says at one point the red wire is hot, but it's not, since it's connected to the white, which is always the neutral, and the black is hot, which is why it's connected to the switch

    You need to use steel wool to clean the tip of your soldering iron. That's why it wasn't working. Too much old, built up solder

    • @tedjohansen7730
      @tedjohansen7730 3 года назад

      And a dab of flux to clean the metal to accept the solder. Much stronger connection.
