There's so many pre-order fiascos. I'm in the process of starting a new keyboard parts website, and I'm specifically staying away from pre-orders if at all possible. I only want to sell things that are in stock!
Coming from Gateron Browns these HP sound and feel amazing to type on. I did not lube them and just have them stock. Do you recommend lubing them I am not that picky but finding lube are so hard to find online and dont look forward to lubing 87 switches.
I really do recommend lubing any switches you get. I know it’s a long process but it’s sooooo worth it in the end! Just remember that if you do lube that they don’t need a lot to make them smooth.
Theyre the same switch. Drop had all their holy pandas made from the Invyr Panda housing molds. People sometimes just call them the Drop Holy Pandas, Invyr Holy Pandas or both put together (Drop + Invyr Holy Pandas). Hope that helps!
Only if you really want to try them. Otherwise I prefer T1s over holy pandas. But that’s the beauty of this hobby. You can try out all the different switch variants available
I have these v2, mine came with a few switches flying around in the box. They have been sitting in my closet since July. Honestly, I still have been debating lubing them and throwing them in my next build. Just bummed about the POM housing..
i would buy these, its currently september and im wondering if there still having issues with them being prelubed or not, so im not sure if I would still buy these switches, don't know if there hype or actually worth getting for tactile, because of course at the end of the day its all preference
You should double check your switches. I got a batch of HPs that had badly molded stems. Like 13 of my switches, from a 90 pack order had their right side bump missing. They only had a bump on the left side of the stem. In other previous orders, I had 7 of my switches with bad leaves that wouldn't let the switches make contact. Both of these orders were from the same batch as yours. Drop did provide replacements for them though, but it is one other fuckup that I've noticed from them.
Been browsing RUclips for reviews on theHoly Pandas for a while and this was the best one. Great honest review.
Thanks for the kind words! I will always try to be honest with my reviews. People deserve honesty :)
I subscribed the moment I saw that plat on your desk.
My wife just got hers in today cant wait to see how they are in her build
what base plate did you use for her custom keyboard
Damn boi. Drop literally made all of the people hate them.
They really did lol!
People were talking about false advertising and had good reasons for it
Totally agree. If it was a deal breaker for me, I would have asked for a refund.
They need to Fire their whole advertisement team.
@@nychick1023 Probably not, since they still sell a lot of this overpriced Halos
Absolutely deserved that like and subscribe! Thanks for the upload. Much appreciated
Thanks for the support!

Thats the definitely the best way to go about it im my opinion. Makes customers very happy to have their stuff as soon as possible.
How would I get holy pandas for space bar, shift etc,?
? It's the same switch
Anyone know where to buy the NK65 where its in stock????
This ended up sounding so nice!
They sure do. A little higher pitched than I would like but still very nice.
Just got notified of restock and ordered 90 up today
Nice! I hope you enjoy them!
What film and plate material was used? I loved how your Holy Panda had a thocc noise while mine make a soft thud noise
Hey there! I used Kebo films and the plate is made out of aluminum. Aluminum is my preferred plate material over Brass. Thanks for watching!

@Jay C HD would you know the difference between the Drop + Invyr holy pandas vs the drop holy pandas? Have you heard of one is better than the other?
Theyre the same switch. Drop had all their holy pandas made from the Invyr Panda housing molds. People sometimes just call them the Drop Holy Pandas, Invyr Holy Pandas or both put together (Drop + Invyr Holy Pandas). Hope that helps!
Jay C. HD thanks for the explanation! I thought they were different since the price was very different.
So I already have T1 switches lube and filmed. So you don’t recommend I get the HP?

Have you tried durock switches? And if you have how are they
Love durock switches! Review of the T1s coming soon!
so it seems that this 10 dollar "im sorry" coupon is a common thing when they mess up....smh....very cold customer service practice imo
Yeah a little frustrating to say the least but what can we do but protest with our wallets
@@xomgitsjay oh i used my wallet's power. returned whole keyboard....
What lube and film did you use?
I used Trybosis 3204 and Kebo Films
what did you lube them with?
Trybosis 3204
they are now in stock regularly on amazon and even cheaper than on drop. tempting but i cant just spend money like that.
what keyboard case was that exactly? thank you
This is the NovelKeys NK65 Aluminum Keyboard
I just ordered my panda switches which brand do u recommend for lubing them ?
Congrats! Trybosis 3204 should work well with those

Yeah I hear ya. A lot of people were unfortunately and it really sucks that they advertised it and took so long to fix it

Definitely all about preference. Hopefully they’ve resolved all the issues but they’re very nice tactiles!
they sound overrated
Kinda on the edge of buying holy pandas, this made me feel more confident buying them. Thanks!
And THIS is why I make videos. I’m glad I was able to help you! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy them!
Nice video man. Hope you get more subscribers soon.
And i hope i get some holy pandas someday :D
Thanks I appreciate it! And if you get the chance definitely try them out!
