@HystoricalMicrobe i think you may actually be right, i never had a photo of that siren during the day. I just looked on google street map and bings bird view... it is an sth-10. its at the intersection of Lily Lake Rd and W Rand Rd (120) at the firestation.
I remember this specific day and I remember watching the emergency broadcast when living in Wonder Lake. I was about 12 that day scared out of my mind when I heard it was near us.
According to Bing Maps, Round Lake Beach, IL has an EOWS-612 outside the railroad tracks near The Home Depot.

@zydek44e i believe that may have actually been some rain that hit the lens causing some glare... this was after the storm has lost the warning.
I live in Cary IL, just a little north. And sirens went off in 3 am when a funnel cloud was spotted near this open plain a mile away from my house.

I Live By the Navy Base in North Chicago And The Base Had The sirens...It Was so loud and scary..

I remember that night I think but there was no real tornado it was just extremely high winds. I don't remember all of it its 2018 now.
