Running from the black knight right into Havel, I am dying 😂😂😂
I was just about to comment this 😂
this is some scoobydoo shit
Literally between a rock and a hard place.
That was hilarious.
You could say he was “Stuck between a rock and a hard place” ;D
the red crab thingy you saw was actually a veryyyy rare online-only enemy
I think I’ve only seen two or three in my many years of playing it
never seen them in game and I played a loooooot of dark souls
I have never seen that before!
i never knew it existed at all.
Super rare
Dude actually found one of the rarest enemies of the game on his first playthrough
Does that red crab thingy spawn offline too? i have never seen it before
@@TheHunterOfYharnam nope it’s an obscure online thing which happens when a player drops an item and it gets sent across multiple players worlds as a humanity until it eventually creates a vagrant
@@TheHunterOfYharnam only on online and it is super rare
Ok thanks for explaining it
The thing is called a Vagrant... I mostly play offline, so I haven't seen one either.
"I need to get those souls back" - the most common cause of death. 😄
Running from the Black Knight into Havel might be one of my favorite Dark Souls moments ever. LOL. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire.
50:29 that was one of the greatest moments ever 😂😂 “…..it’s a dragon…” helldrake appears
I was looking for this comment, wss just about to comment it myself. You can't make that stuff up! The look on his face immediately before the fire, so perfect haha
@@Codandub fr 😭
27:52 Never have I ever in any playthrough seen, or even watched someone encounter these normally, these are vagrants, probably the rarest mob in any From game. When a player that died with a lot of humanity died again and didn't pick up their souls, there's a small chance that these things will spawn. Unfortunately you got the evil variant!
Yep, very rare. I put about 3k hours into DS1 and only saw about three the entire time.
I only ever saw one once. While in Anor Londo at the archer segment. It was the evil kind. It was on the other roof with the second archer. I didn't even get to it because I died trying to deal with the first archer.
I saw one, the White variant at the bottom of great hollow on my 1st playthrough
@@moosepotato4116 I saw one in the same spot but it was a normal type
I've never saw one only in mods lol, and i've finished normal dark souls like 10 times
The only thing better than playing a Fromsoft game for the first time, is watching someone else play a Fromsoft game for the first time. It's always just a total joy.
Exactly this is like my 3rd time watching a ds1 play through lol
Mati pre-Dark Souls 1: Yes! The feeling of finally killing a boss after so many attempts is overwhelming!
Mati post Undead Burg, all charred and bruised, voice trembling: I REACHED THE NEXT BONFIRE!
Ok, so a relatively simple yet in-depth explanation of Humanity and Kindling etc.;
There's often a distinction made between "hard" and "soft" humanity, "hard" humanity is the stuff you might have in your inventory, you use it to get "soft" humanity (the number next to your health and stamina).
You can't lose hard humanity when you die, but you can lose soft humanity, but you can pick up soft humanity with your bloodstain if you had any.
You need at least 1 soft humanity to reverse hollowing (to not look like beef jerky).
Once human, you can (currently, until you get the secret rite) kindle any bonfire once using a soft humanity to get 10 estus flasks when you rest at that specific bonfire (except bonfires with a firekeeper, the one at firelink is down the stairs and in the cage and comes pre-kindled 1 time).
When you eventually get the secret rite, you can kindle bonfires 3 total times (2 for firekeeper bonfires) to get up to 20 estus when you rest at that bonfire.
Also, if you pick up an item called a firekeeper soul, DO NOT USE IT, instead take it to a firekeeper (e.g. the one at firelink) and upgrade how much your estus flask heals you.
Having soft humanity also slightly increases item discovery/drop rate, but this of course is risky as you can lose it.
Being human means you can access online features like invasion, and you can also occasionally summon friendly NPCs (e.g. everyone's favourite Sun-bro Solaire) for some bosses.
You're doing great so far, keep it up!
That crab thing is INCREDIBLY rare. I have played DS for hundreds of hours and never seen one for myself. This playthrough is gonna be one for the books my brother.
@LetTheGalaxyBurn777 It's a Red Vagrant, an incredibly rare online-only enemy who has a miniscule chance of spawning in someone's world when another player dies with enough humanities at that location and then fails to recover them. They always drop Twin Humanities. There are also White and Black versions that can appear when players drop enough items somewhere that have much wider loot tables. The Black version in particular is almost unheard of, because it is only created when another Vagrant survives traveling through many players worlds without ever being killed. If you do somehow find one, though, they drop really good loot.
For the dudes with the big shields, just give them a good kick and they'll stagger for an opening.
Also kindling is a permanent upgrade, but it only for that bonfire. Any new bonfires need to be kindled separately for more estus per sit/respawn.
Two-handing your weapon gives you a 50% bonus to your strength, so don't sleep on two-handing for that extra damage if you're not gonna be blocking much anyway.
Equal Str and Dex is actually a viable option here. It's called a Quality Build and allows you to use most weapons. It gives you variety, especially on a first playthrough when you aren't familiar with the weapons in the game.
Going quality? Playmore with Claymore, I always say.
yes this dude knows his stuff! claymore, quality build is a great new player build
I ran str zwei my first time, but quality claymore is a super respectable first build and it lets you swap to a black knight weapon later if you want.
This is honestly the most enjoyable Dark Souls series i’ve seen so far. Not relying on the spoilery floor messages, not a live stream, blind, a general lack of skill (which I promise is perfectly normal and it’s how everyone started out, it’s just that your struggling is reminding me of my first playthrough and it brings back some good and bad memories), and also no major spoilers in the comments. Super awesome! I know this series is pretty old lol, but doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it or comment
You're doing great, bro. This game is all about learning from mistakes, trail and error. I'm stoked for this series, Mati, and as always, another fun episode. 👍 Take care!
That’s really it brotha! I can’t wait to get the hang of it it’s honestly the best feeling and sometimes it takes a while 😄 Glad to hear that man all the best!
@@matiasgago One piece of advice, if I may, bro. If you're not actively using your shield, two-handing your weapon gives a modest but useful damage boost to attacks. Plus, you can still block with a two-handed weapon in a pinch, though with reduced effectiveness.
Praise the Sun!!!! Also, learning is the experience, you got this !!!
Thank you good sir that’s it! 🫶🏽
@@matiasgago IMPORTANT: Your game seems very dark at times, I just checked in your first video you seem to adjust your brightness, but didn't confirm it.
The character moans everytime he gets hit n cracks me up more then it should 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro it’s wild 🤣
Oscar's drip was too jealousy inducing
Huge facts!
@@matiasgago Don't worry, you'll find it in a very green area with sleeping giant knights...
@@dx315 very green so green a butterfly would love it
if you're amazed at how the world was connected, the level design in this game, not just inside a level, but in the entire world, is INCREDIBLE! Definitely never seen it done any better! So keep exploring each time you discover a new era (also, fake walls are a thing in this game) because you can be amazed at each turn!
Kindling is levelling up the bonfire so it gives you more estus.
Holy shit, you got a vagrant! That crab thing in the Taurus Demon boss room spawns extremely rarely and it's related to an obscure online mechanic.
I love how you made the drake encounter way harder than it needed to be lol
It's just the From learning curve. You got this man. I got suckered by the rolling and the cemetery too. Most people do.. 🙂 Let's go!
That’s it man thank you for understanding my pain 🫶🏽
The fog doors are there to section off areas for PVP. It’s so that when you’re invaded both you and the invader are confined to one location guaranteeing that you will actually meet.
It's also a carryover from Demon's Souls. Since in that game, there is a literal wall of fog consuming the world. So you would traverse further inward by passing through a fog wall. I think it's the only game that contextualizes it.
Love how you completely forgot the ring that you found next to the knight 🤣🤣✌🏻 these are game changers🔥
Some simple gameplay/world info if you want to read this:
If you’re under 25% equip load you’ll quick roll, 25-50% is mid roll, over 50% is fat roll. Quick roll has the most invincibility frames when you dodge.
The little crab thing is a vagrant (extremely rare) and can spawn when someone in another player loses a bunch of humanity.
You can use humanity to kindle a bonfire (when human) to increase the flasks you get when resting there by 5 every time you kindle it. The Firelink bonfire and a few others give you 10 flasks right off the bat.
A drake is like a sub-species of dragon. And that specific one is called a Hellkite drake.
And as a personal experience, I remember doing a playthrough where the taurus demon attacked and just backstepped off the bridge and killed itself. And I just thought “Wait…wtf?”
OMG the map design is insane! I thought I’ve explored everything, still missed the fun merchant over there. My heart was beating fast watching you fight Taurus Demon, as usual. The encounter of the dragon was too much, so hilarious - not laughed this hard for weeks!😂
You can get the uchigatana from killing the joker merchant. A really good weapon.
@@miqseri I would never have guessed! CLASSIC!🤣
ProTip: Endurance is the most OP stat in DS1 because it gives you both more Stamina and higher Equip Load, it's the reason they separated those two things into different stats for the whole rest of the series. If you're ever not sure where to put stat points Endurance is never a bad idea/waste.
Let’s goooo dude!! Hope you’re enjoying it thus far! Definitely chonky compared to the others 😂
Man it’s been very interesting haha I’m currently still in the hellish phase of learning everything but honestly having a ton of fun still just can’t wait to fully get it lol it’s the best feeling
@@matiasgago I feel that dude!! Today will be day 3, and I think it was starting to click a bit end of day 2. Good luck dude, you got this!! 🤘🙌🙏
I don't agree with the guy that said you shouldn't go into the areas you used the master key for. My favorite moment from Dark Souls was when I used the key, I got to someplace I knew I wasn't supposed to be in, but that just added to the mysterious atmosphere. I didn't even try fighting the mobs cause I knew they were too tough, so I just ran through the place and picked up some really awesome armors. I thought I had ruined my playthrough and couldn't get back, but then I used the master key to some other door and I was pretty soon back where I started. The level design in Ds1 is insane and you should definitely explore everything you see until you can't. Don't limit yourself Mati!
Couple tips, my man: you can backstab the Black Knights fairly easy (along with most humanoid enemies in this game.) It's all about sneaking up slow and targeting them for the initial one, then circling around behind after that. Also, using the kick on enemies with shields will usually break their guard and then you can use the thrust attack to drop them. Thrust attacks are also your best friend in tight corridors so your sword doesn't bounce off the walls. Keep on grinding, Mati.. these videos are awesome!
Claymore is beamore. Super solid weapon you could use for the whole game and has great scaling with strength and dex, but as always use what you want and play the way is most comfortable for you. It's your journey and we are just here for it.
To quote the great Bill Murray, "I'm excited to be a part of this." Praise the sun!
I spent AGES perfecting the run-back to Taurus Demon in 2011 (didn’t have the balls to just ‘speedrun’ back), so this feels nostalgic!
Your Master of Puppets shirt also enhances the nostalgia (I say, as my younger brother sits next to me, wearing my old MoP shirt I got in 2011 as well 😃)
I am so pumped for this play thru! I will never forget my relief and amazement at the shortcut back to the bonfire under the bridge. Dark Souls 1 world design is unparalleled.
Kindling a bonfire lets you get more estus from a certain bonfire, so instead of 5 you can get 10, but you need to reverse your hollowing to kindle first, so in total it will cost you two humanities to level it up once, later in the game when you find the secret rite you will be able to get up to 20
Hope he sees this cause playing this game with only 5 estus is literally committing long term suicide irl
Hope he sees this cause playing this game with only 5 estus is literally committing long term suicide irl
51:50 the exact reaction dark souls’ level design deserves!!! 👊
I will admit my soul shattered when you killed oscar😭 but cant wait to see more \[T]/
I feel that well i’m glad you came back 😅
Praise the sun my sunbro
Mati at it again. So many fond memories of the Taurus Demon, definitely the Margit of Dark Souls 1.
Running from a black knight straight into Havel is the best thing I think I’ve seen in a SoulsBorne lp 😂😂
Im soo happy you did a back to back DS video! I love al your videos but your souls playtroughs are the best
Thank you! Had to keep the hype going haha 🫶🏽
Dude, that red crab thing is a vagrant, a very rare spawn! Awesomely fun episode, Mati!
Although the skeletons are tough, there’s a really good weapon in the cemetery I always pick it up first thing.

Man, your chases with the undead and the Black Knight plus running into Havel (the big armored knight) at the bottom of the tower took me back 11 years!
Also glad to see you appreciate DS1’s level design so soon!
Ever since DS2 (hell, since DS1 + DLC was launched for PC and labeled “Prepare to Die” edition), many people have been hyping Souls for its bosses and difficulty.
I always liked the (infuriating but rewarding) learning curve, loved the fantastical bosses, but I LIVED for the world/level design when I discovered shortcuts like 51:47 and stuff only just a little further on from where you are.
ER has the spectacle and castles, BB has the crazy twisted lore, atmosphere & creatures, but DS1 remains my (clunky) GOAT, and I’m glad you’re patient with it 😃
The titles for each stamp are so good 🤣💜
Best level design in video games. Enjoy it 🎃
You're partly right with not being able to dodge diagonally, it's one of the worst features of Ds1 - no omnidirectional rolling when locking on. This is why whenever I play Ds1 I never lock on to anything, makes aiming attacks easier as a bonus.
Man you’re the best let’s player I’ve seen in years
Absolutely dedicated to finding EVERYTHING from Elden Ring through Bloodborne to Dark Souls
Stay awesome Mati
Edit: btw playing offline disables player invasions but not scripted NPC invasions
There are some game messages that you’ll still see but player made messages will be gone
The humanities are used to kindle bonfires, wich makes that bonfire give you more estus flasks when you rest at it.
It makes it so you can reverse hollowing, wich affects some questlines. Being hollow also makes it so you can´t summon friends to play co-op.
The more humanity you have will increase the drop rate from enemies.
The numbers next to your health and stamina bar is where you see how much humanity you have, but it´s connected to the souls, so if you die and fail to pick up your souls you will loose them.
So I would suggest to save them in your inventory and eat as many as you need to kindle bonfires in areas you have a hard time with, or eating several of them if you´re going to farm for a certain item
26:30
Stuck between a Rock and a hard place haha.
Chased by the Black Knight right into Havel The Rock. Too funny
Job well done, Mr. Gago.
Humanity: everybody's favorite Dark Souls mechanic. There is "soft humanity," the big number in the upper left hand corner, and can be lost just like your souls, and there is "hard humanity," which you receive for defeating bosses (and from rats), and is kept in your inventory. Up to 10 "soft" humanity can be earned in areas where the boss is still alive by killing enemies. I don't want to spoil it by going any further. You'll figure it out.
Enjoy your playthrough!
when you opened the tower door to escape the black knight only to run into havel i literally gasped so long i got light-headed. props to you man this game is just Like That
Fr 😂 running from one of the strongest non boss enemies (weakened ofc but still) into the strongest (debatable) non boss enemy
Vengeance on the Skeletons!!! Another amazing dark souls video!
I chose violence ! lol
Fun Fact: your souls appear at the last place you had maximum stamina before you died. This is actually true for other souls games as well. So if you know you're going to die, you can try placing them in a convenient place by waiting for your stamina to top out.
Man I love your channel so much!
I’ve discovered you thanks to your Bloodborne playthrough and I adored everything about it, it was an absolute joy to watch!
And the best about all that is that I now get to follow your Dark Souls adventures “in real time”.
Thank you for providing us so high quality entertainment, keep up the good work.
I’ve juste subscribed the other day as you reached 8k sub, that was fun as you were celebrating 6k in the video I was watching lol! You’ll be over 10k before the end of the year that’s for sure!
I just replayed this recently and it’s really cool to see you go through a lot of the same experiences when I first played it haha, thank you for the great content 🙏
That’s the thing about souls games. You can never play them again and experience that joy that you did on the first play through. The only way to replicate that feeling is to watch other people experience it. It is a blessing and a curse.
The moment you get to that ladder? Oh man, it's hard to top.
My unsolicited advice about combat: Let the enemy hit your shield, then smack them back. Learn backstabs. Drop attacks only work when you lock on. Gold Pine Resin is your friend with bosses. The Dark Souls moan is iconic. I have it as a text tone! 😂
This is like perfect comedy timing:
"What the fuck is a drake?"
*pauses*
"...it's a dragon."
*Drake* "Hello there."
heres a tip on how the humanities work (if you wanna know that of course: 1 the amount of humanities consumed is shown in the upper left corner you can also can get a direct boost to that number as a rare chance from enemies. 2 you can use one consumed humanity to become human which allows you to summon players and npcs to help you, but also makes you be able to be invaded. 3 the amount of consumed humanities can actually really buff damage so if you have like 10 youre gonna be really strong( you also loose all consumed humanities when you die if you want them back you will need to retrieve youre souls).4 using a single humanity always restores youre hp to full and theres no limit on how many you can use the animations just pretty long. Also as always a complete banger video
Bro, the full circle moments are soooo good in this game
I realize I'm late but I'll comment this anyway:
20:30 Every locked door has a key. The Master Key just lets you open some locked doors without needing to first obtain its corresponding key.
Glad to see you're having fun with this game.
A note on how kindling works! In your human form you can kindle the bonfire using humanity, which gives you 5 extra flasks when you spawn from that bonfire. Even if you aren't in human form you will still get the extra flasks, but you do have to be in human form to do the actual kindling.
Other than that, human form is only good for summoning. You need to be in human form to summon.
This is exactly what I needed thank you so much Bears! 🫶🏽
Oh I think certain questlines require you to summon specific NPCs too (no spoilers if you answer please!).
Also you can only get invaded while in human form right? And if I remember correctly, if you are kind of a completionist and wanna get special NPC loot and maybe complete certain questlines (?) (probably not the latter tho) you gotta be in human form to get invaded in specific areas by those NPCs as well
"What's a Drake?"
Brain calculates...
"It's a dragon"
Best comedic timing ever!
Sitting at the bonfires in ds1 is one of the best feelings in video games ever.
Your humanity is the number in the top left corner. When it's lit, you are human. You can spend humanity on kindling bonfires, which increases the flasks you get from that bonfire by 5. It takes one humanity to turn human. One to kindle. You can only kindle if you're human. If that number is unlit, you are hollow.
Being hollow has its benefits. You can't be invaded if you're hollow.
Being human has its benefits. You'll see summon signs outside certain boss fog walls, but only if you're human. There are also certain weapons that scale off of your active humanity. You retrieve whatever humanity you had when you retrieve your souls.
Also, I rarely comment on youtube, but it's been a pleasure watching. Been following since Bloodborne. I've been working through From Software's games this year. Dark Souls 1 -> Dark Souls 2 -> Bloodborne -> Dark Souls 3 (working through the DLC before the final base game boss). I'll watch your Elden Ring series when I get to it. Every game so far has been a unique experience. (Even Dark Souls 2. My least favorite of the bunch so far, but still an amazing, worthwhile experience.)
Cheers, man. You got this.
That incredible coordination when you realized what drake meant and it came to greet you xD really looked like it was rehearsed!
"You failed, miserably." ... proceeds to beam sword off the wall and get hit across the back with a giant axe. :D
"Quit fighting the air, dude!"
*immediately whiffs
🤣
Two tips:
1. You can kick enemies with shields (R1/RB and forward up). That breaks their posture and you can hit them.
2. Kindling the bonfire means you „upgrade“ it so that you get 10 flasks instead of five when spawning there. You need to be in human form to that and you need another humanity to Kindle it, so two humanities in total.
Keep up the good work dude :)
God the comedic timing when you realized what a drake was cosmically perfect lol, best of luck with the next boss you got this!!
I’d kindle every bonfire that appears before a boss room. That way you can have 10 flasks each time. Humanity isn’t easy to come by like Insight, so use kindling wisely! Great video as always dude🎉
What really makes your channel stand out is just how much you connect with your community man. Reading comments, replying, addressing things in the videos. Love to see it. I stumbled upon your channel with elden ring when you had under 1k subs, I've enjoyed all these games and it's great to see someone else experience them for the first time. Here's to many more, and here's to hoping you play DS3, sekiro (i know you already said you probably would :D) and HOLLOW KNIGHT! Did I mention I think you will love hollow knight? Much love bro 🤍
You make the experience very interactive for your audience, it's great. Also I said it back then and it still applies now, you deserve way more subs! Great to see your channel grow 💧🌱
Advice:
1. Block. Shields are OP in DS1 lol. Will help a lot.
2. Reverse hollowing and kindle the flame with 2 humanities. You'll get 10 flasks :)
Good job though Mati, loving this series so far!
I just finished my first run a few weeks ago. Watching this now is better than any movie 😂 I literally screamed and shouted when you tried to fight that drake basically for nothing. I feel u, been there done that 😂
That is one of the most fun blind playthroughs if seen so far!
SPOILER: when you're under the bridge where the drake is on the right you can see his tail, buy a bow and shoot it a couple times until something happens. Also the first merchant it you kill him you will get his uchigatana. So happy you're playing this.
watching someone's 1st playthrough and seeing their reactions is the closest thing people who have played these games to death can get to, to re-live that 1st experience they had with the game.
Also HOLY SHIT you found a variant!! that Crab like thing is one of the rarest enemies in the game, I have played DS1 countless times and I have never seen one.
More DS babyyyyyy
little advice, if you find a new bonfire, you have to touch it AND rest to spawn in that bonfire (after death lol), so glad you sat down after the Dragon flew away😅
loving these!
I started playing this too, again, I left it on the dragon last year, "I gonna play tomorrow" I said, now I started again. A tip for the shield enemies, fight wielding the weapon two handed, it really helps, specially with the spears guys.
Hey mate good to see you enjoying Dark Souls! What a masterpiece!
Also in the Dark Souls series, hold up your shield more often as they deflect most attacks from normal enemies. They usually bounce back and it lets you go for an attack or two.
The game seeing Mati laughing : "You'll suffer if you don't take me seriously ! I'm not Bloodborne or Elden Ring, I'm older, but still need some respect..."
Thats a long one. Praise the Sun \[T]/
\[T]/
Also the kindling system to have more estus works like this:
1) use 2 humanities
2) reverse hollowing
3) kindle
but kindling only works in the bonfire you used it and of course the firelink kindles automatically after some events, so be very carefull of which boffire you are using it. I would recomend using it on bonfires that are connecting lots of areas. You'll know when you find one
Undead Burg has one of the best level designs in history, we know, but the enemy placement is great as well. Everything is there to teach you. You can see most of enemies before entering combat, no ambushes, variety in attacks, class and behaviour. I just love it.
On weapons, the longsword is amazing. Try the moveset 1 and 2 handed so you know when and how to slash horizontally, or vertically, or when to thrust. R1, R1, R2 is a good combo. The claymore shares the moveset. Stronger and heavier, it's super reliable, imo.
Some poise is always welcome, and we need defenses, but you gotta try losing some gear. If you see you're getting destroyed, nevermind, just put it back on. The most important part is that you feel comfortable.
Keep at it, Mati. You got this!
P.S.: Hundreds of hours in this game, and I think I encountered vagrants like 2 or 3 times, you lucky bastard.
It's heartwarmingly nostalgic to see someone struggle with the taurus demon and the bridge. Takes me back to 2011 when I first got into these games.
i was laughing like a maniac when you were running from the knight straight down to havel lmaooo
Hey Mati, you should go back and kill the black knight. There is a chance that it will drop it's sword and viola, end game sword early game. A trick for getting behind that enemy: Hold the shield/block button, then just simply circle behind the enemy and you can kill the black knight doing back stab. Easy peasy!
I only have one piece of advice. Sometimes it is useful to use a weapon two-handed because it essentially increases your strength which increases your damage. There are also different attacks and swings for using weapons one-handed and two-handed. Just something to keep in mind. Loving the series
there he is :) great to see another episode 🔥🔥
Yessir! 😁
BRUH. I have several hundred hours in this game. I playthrough it like once a year. I have NEVER found a vagrant before! You're so lucky! Also some how I've never heard that dialogue from the merchant about the goat the bull and the drake. Good sleuthing! Vaati would be proud!
I put in hundreds of hours into DKS and I ever saw one Vagrant (crab thingie) yet this dude finds one on his first play through and during a boss fight!
Cheers! :D
Ah last thing I promise! Bosses seem to often drop an item "homeward bone" you can use it to return to the last bonfire you used without losing your souls... Sometimes this game doesn't give you a bonfire for a lil while after a boss fight and you can lose everything, I lost over 16k souls after the boss fight in the catacombs 😢
Whats a drake dude?!?
...
its a dragon
*takes a bunch of fire to the face
This was movie levels of poetic timing
Facts
@Mordraug yeah the helldrake is just a fake dragon which can get away with it because most of the real dragons are dead
@Mordraug yeah 😂
There’s always a steep learning curve and with older FS games it could feel like you’re barely getting by. But progress is progress. Also when fighting shielded enemies if you go two hand instead of one handed its a lot easier to hit them.
Mati, this is my first time watching this let's play, I think. I've watched a lot of Dark Souls let's plays and never seen that red alien.
Mati giving us all the content. 😊 😂
Ah, magnificent! Thank you for starting this series, I‘ll watch it right away
You can level both Strength and Dexterity, it's called a Quality Build. My first playthrough of Elden Ring was a Quality build. It might not be as optimal as pure Strength or Dexterity but it gives you a wider variety of weapons to use. Certain weapons scale very well with Quality tho, and it can be just as strong. Just throwing that out there lol. When you ran downstairs from the Gold Knight dude and ran into Havel, I lost my shit lol. Havel is no joke.
Don’t be afraid of the Master Key, bro. The Master Key is your friend. It comes with the Thief, and anyone can select it as a gift. It’s there to be used. Dark Souls 1 is mostly OPEN WORLD, there’s no absolute linear order that the player is supposed to follow. It’s all about having an individualized adventure, and this is why the game has such high replayability. You can choose to go so many different directions in different orders, and everyone is going to naturally have a different adventure by following their own curiosity down different paths. Isn’t that exciting?
Ps. It only opens a few doors anyway, but I suggest when you find a door that opens with it - GO INSIDE and peek around, if only to see what horrors and adventures await you for later in the game! So exciting! God I love this game. ❤
Kindling a bonfire sacrifices a humanity but it lets you recover more flasks when you sit at that bonfire.
Great episode. Missed the tip about kindling as you were distraught after dying when Taurus was 1 hit. blasted by drake right when u realize whats coming lol.
One of the best things about DS1 is how the areas interconnect. Gonna love it.
Also you can kill that drake, just be sure to cut off its tail first...
When he realizes a drake is similar to a dragon and gets roasted extra toasty!! 😂😂😂. Plz post another tomorrow I can’t wait
its soo good to see a first timer jus GUSH about the level design
Love your videos bro! Just a quick tip for the bosses: if you can't block or parry their attacks (that will be the case most of the times) then you must always weild your weapon two-handed. Dark Souls 1 is my favourite fromsoft game and I'm soooo hyped you've started this series!
I love so much see nubies playing the first time 🙈🥰 btw i subscribed, nice video
