Just wanted to say this: Thank you Ruby for staying real, honest and down to earth to your subscribers. I appreciate and enjoy your videos so much as a uni student. ❤️🇿🇦
@@nesrinisli6921 she's complained before and has been exhausted on some days when she stays up late to work like any normal student, whats your beef? We're only seeing a snipet of her life and some youtubers don't want to put out negative energy in their videos.
Ruby, I so love the infectious joy you get from everyday activities. Whenever I am feeling down your positive attitude about studying and living life always helps me refocus and appreciate everything in my life. Thank you for your videos :)
Ruby, you're such a breath of fresh air in a stressful, fast-paced world-- thank you for sharing your videos with us! You're such an inspiration for me ✨
Hi Ruby, just a quick tip from a chronic insomniac, I’be recently been listening to nature sounds to help me fall asleep and it has been doing wonders. Thoroughly recommend it!
Whenever I have problems sleeping I try to spend less time in front of electronical devices. Especially before bed, I try to read instead of watching something on my phone.
You are such a beautiful soul Ruby! Others are so inspired by you and you are always helping people be productive! You are so posotive! I love you and you are awesome! Xxx
Your videos are always so motivating! It’s amazing that you manage to get so much done! I also love that you always seem to truly love and be interested in what you are studying. It’s very refreshing to see this!
Ruby Granger I’ve used the boots spray until they discontinued it and now I use the botanics lavender spray which helps me, hopefully it can help you :)
Hi Ruby, I'm from Italy. I was in Exeter when I was 15, that is almost 10 years ago. I have to say I don't remember much of the city and it's so so sad. I like your vlogs and I hope to see more and more of you just hanging around and showing us where you live now ans what you do on a daily ❤
With regards to the sleep, I find I wake more if I haven't unwound properly before bed. I don't have any caffeine after lunchtime and I either watch ASMR to unwind, read a book or write in my journal to chill out and I find it really helps.
RUBY you are the only ONLY person to make me sleep at night I have insomnia too and always listening to your voice and looking at your videos is the ONLY thing that will make me calm and less stressed about everything thanks so much
Sleep help - the 4-7-8 breathing technique has saved me many times. Practice it and it will help your body relax into a sleep state. I also love The Honest Guys meditations and sleep talk downs! Above all, even if you cannot fall asleep, lie there and relax. At least your body is resting this way, and this reassurance is usually enough to help me drift off. Hope this helps xx
Hey Ruby! I just wanted to let you know that your videos always motivate me so much☺️ just seeing you be so productive helps me to get out of a rut (especially on Sundays 🙈) I hope you’re having a great day!💓💫
I've tried deep sleep pillow spray by thisworks for sleep, it's a blend of oils in a spray form. I was very skeptical at first but it really relaxes my to get to sleep quicker.
EEK, that stuff is expensive! I've been wanting a light smelling linen spray of some sort. (That's not full of chemicals. Not sure if such a thing exists.)
You really work very hard even at your university.. Really nice 😁 Usually university life means enjoying and having fun but you do both enjoying and studying really your work is like multi tasking .. Love you ruby
Hi Ruby, if you struggle to fall asleep, make sure you sleep for 8 hours, even though waking up at 8 am for example is too late for you. You should not feel guilty about it either. There is so much evidence about the negative effects of sleep deprivation, 6 or 7 hours of sleep is not enough. It's in the last 3 hours that our brains consolidate everything we've learned the previous day. A book suggestion for you all: Why we sleep, Matthew Walker. Lots of hugs
I'm relatively new to the channel and I have been going through the old videos too. Your editing is as good as your content. That transition between the shopping scene and back to the room with wall at switch.. it's so cool. Your videos have become a prominent part of my routine. So I just wanted to say good work and keep them coming.
Ruby a little something that might help your insomnia is to try diffusing lavender essential oils or putting some on the bottoms of your feet if you wake up in the night😊 I found it helped me and my insomnia so I hope it helps you if you haven’t already, have a good day!
Waking up at night like this may be an effect of chronic stress. I've got anxiety and PTSD and I wouldn't sleep without medication. Your cortisol level just raises in the random moments at night and it wakes you up.
Blue light from devices such as smart phones and phones keep you awake at night , ruby make sure you change your device color settings to the warmer colors so you can sleep well after watching something at night. really recommend doing this.
Hey ruby! Your videos are amazing! You obviously spend so much valuable time editing and trying to make your videos the best you can make them and OMG they are flawless!!! You have literally given me so much motivation and it was just the thing I was looking for. Thank you so much you have literally saved my grades!!!! LOVE your vids so much you don’t even understand 🥰🥰🥰
Hey ruby. Great video I just wanted to offer some advice. I struggled with sleep really badly at uni and found certain things that help: Not working in my room close to bed Socialising with others a lot more than I did previously Just overall relaxing more Hope this helps and your sleep improves. 😀👍
I feel for you so much having insomnia! I highly recommend the book The Effortless Sleep Method - by Sasha Stephens. The Guardian have done a great review on it also.
Sleepy body lotion by Lush is a great help to falling asleep. A little goes a long way. I put some under by nose! And rub it to my hands and arms just before going to bed. Xx
Lush sleepy cream was a genuine life saver for me! Sending empathy hugs for criticisms, if I recall correctly you may be nearing/currently doing Derrida and it’s a minefield!
I always wait for your every video and get inspire...your videos are really very beautiful..i just love your lifestyle...i learn to read books because of you..you really inspired me reading books..and now i realized reading books is one of the best feelings♥️.Just don't stop your videos i want them for lifetime...Love from india
Such a great video as always!😘 I love that you put the music you used in the description, I was always looking for it, because you have such a great taste of music!
I think when you were browsing, you picked up a book called all the bright places. It’s such a lovely book, it covers some hard hitting topics but I really enjoyed getting an insight in to the characters situations. Read it in one sitting as a holiday read. Would definitely recommend!
I loved this vlog, especially seeing all the places you walked! The "mySleepButton" app is pretty good for insomnia. It's informed by scientific research and works by having you picture a different image every few seconds. This basically mimics the random thought patterns that the brain goes through naturally when you're falling asleep. It often works for me :)
I think watching routines is a habit to me I don’t know how but I just get so interested in them and sometimes do some bits in my own morning routine lol
Loved this video 😃 have you seen the Michael Morpurgo sand sculpture in Waterstones (the one at the top you went to)? I think you can meet him next Saturday on a first come first served basis
I love your videos! They make me wanna be more productive! The only problem is trying to stop watching your videos to actually BE more productive hahahaha. Greetings from Chile! :)
Hello beautiful person scrolling through the comments I just want to let you know that kindness is a language that the deaf than hear and the blind can see share it with the world and make someone’s day
Hi ruby! I really enjoy watching your videos on studying, they inspire me. Do you have any tips or could you make a video about how to make the most out of your weekends/be productive? I feel like I get distracted and don’t know how to manage my time at all, even though I use a planner. That’d help me so much! Thank you and take care
When your videos are about to end, I get sad. If you could make them longer that would be great :) I love watching your channel, it really motivates me to be more productive like you x
Ok i dont really comment on all your vids but i do watch them for some reason i watched one of your hermione granger vids and absolutelt loved it that i susribed. I never really do that. I am currently in year 7 and seeing your vids inspire me to study so im doing well thnx to you
I have a book series recommendation for you - The 'Murder Most Unladylike' Series by Robin Stevens! They're technically aimed at kinds but I still love them and they're good for if you want something easy to read amongst Uni work lol. They're about two crime-solving boarding school girls set in the 1930s! The characters are so lovable and the crimes they solve are really clever! I think you should definitely check them out. :)
Book shopping is the most relaxing activity for me.
Mines taking a valium
Yas
It's the ONLY kind of shopping I like!
It's so stressful for me trying to refrain myself from buying loads
Katieishere I know😭😭😭
6:32 that was such a seamless cut. Really good job on that editing Ruby.

filmsbynix she isn’t even staying real. She never complains and always pretends she is never exhausted. Does that seem real to you?

That transition on 6:34 was mindblowing!
Very nice and cozy video! 🤪💗
