We were told that Bardock will be soft composited with the 3 main things he’s been in (not Xeno/Heroes), which also means he’d be somewhere above 10k given he got a zenkai from the beginning of his SSJ special, so it’s likely higher. Not counting we got told by Toyotaro that Gas was apparently (don’t quote me on that) as strong as the Ginyu force when he fought Bardock. There’s also the weird case of the Ragnarr’s being tougher due to adapting to the gravity of their planet having a denser point, something the Viltrumites weren’t able to deal with so they froze the surface of the planet instead, which lines up with Saiyans being the same, meaning Nolan might not be able to damage him.

Hey Rappter, excited for this fight and am also rooting for Bardock, but just wanted to make a little clarification on one of Bardock’s “psychic” abilities. Bardock’s Future Sight was given to him yes, but it was given to him as a curse. The ability was meant to torture Bardock by giving him involuntary visions in to the future that he has no control over and he cannot voluntarily turn on or off this ability, it seemingly just happens at random. This ability has also never directly helped Bardock on a fight, in fact it’s actually hindered him. So Future Sight is really not going to be to Bardock’s benefit at all if used in this fight, if anything it might actually nerf him. Just wanted to let you know. Personally, I’m just happy that my favorite Dragon Ball character actually made it into Death Battle! Here’s hoping the Death Battle crew does them both justice!

W Prediction and so glad Death Battle is back! , there are somethings that i would like to mention , for starters characters like Battle Beast were actually knocked out by the Viltrum explosion(he wasn't on the planet , just fighting near it) and he is stronger or at worst on par with Nolan , this should mean that Nolan doesn't scale that high into Planet as he easily scales above Multi continental and moon with some other Planet level feats and scaling while characters stronger than him struggle with below Large Planet strength so i think just Planet level is fair for him , as for Bardock the King Vegeta feat is actually in the dwarf star levels and funnily enough someone compered them and its over 9 thousand times(legit the number i am not kidding) more impressive that the Viltrum explosion(Which as i stated i already disagree with Omni Man scaling to it fully) and Bardock with Super Saiyan should be weaker but on par with First Form Frieza who destroyed Planet Vegeta(this feat was calced at dwarf star by death battle but there are new calcs that get it to solar system level when looking at the stars in the background and them being destroyed by the blast) lastly i would like to talk about speed which funnily enough , i think the episode will give it to Bardock , as you showed in 6:18 the staff is using everything in the toei anime , this is important cause there Trillion times ftl feats done by Goku before landing on Namek(when landing he was at 90K power level so worst case scenario this Goku would be 9 times faster than base Bardock at slower than Super Saiyan Bardock)and this feat was done at basically start of the arc making him likely in the Saiyan Saga tier of power levels still , its important to mention that Ultraguy(the same Death Battle staff you mentioned) has viewed this feat and done his own calc of it in his "Goku calcs" blog and he does in fact believe its in the trillions , no low ends or high ends were given for it unlike his other calcs , he straight up said this is THE calc for this feat meaning he disagrees with any other version of this feat , i am mentioning this to show that this is not some vague feat that the staff doesn't know off and if they did by chance they would go by a lower end cause this higher end is not known by them , no the staff does know of it and agreed with the trillions x ftl version of it so there is a likely hood of Bardock actually taking speed anyways that's just my opinion on who i think wins , as i mentioned before good prediction and very exited for Death Battle coming back!.
I think Bardock wins. While Omni-Man has his fair share of advantages like speed, stamina and experience, Bardock’s superior strength and durability is all he needs in order to win, let alone his wider range of abilities and equal combat and battle iq. There was this one time in the Invincible comics when a bunch of Viltrumite hybrids splattered themselves while trying to hurt Mark. Omni-Man would end up doing the same if he even attempted to hit Bardock.

The thing with Omni-Man is that viltrumites rely more on Close Quarters combat meanwhile Sayians like Bardock usually to do the same but they also can use ki attacks to fight from a distance or just go great ape and just get everything said and done

I personally believe the *splat* factor is gonna come into play here, considering its present in both series (Moro breaking his hand when punching goku / the half viltrums splatting when tackling Mark), which, to those that dont know, in both series (Although its shown a lot more in invincible) when the gap of strenght between two characters is too big, the weaker character will end up harming themselves when attacking the stronger one, coined as the splat factor due to it happening a lot in invincible when characters fly into others and *splat* like bugs in a windshield If the gap in power between Bardock and Nolan really is that high, Nolan's speed might end up getting him Splatted against Bardock, either outright killing him, or giving Bardock a window to get a good hit in to end the fight
In the legend of manga, toriyama stated that 10K units of power is needed to destroy a planet like earth so to destroy a planet like planet Vegeta by the way, it gets 100K. You dont need to scale to king vegeta.
I'm going with Bardock especially since they are giving Bardock the other movies and whatnot to get his Super Saiyan form (not even sure if he even needs them either). Also, kind of a theme for DragonBall characters in that as long as they don't fight comic book characters (DC/Archie/some Marvel) then they will win EVERY SINGLE TIME. Most if not the majority of shows/anime and whatnot can't keep up with DB scaling unless it is comic book bs stuff. This episode is basically saying that there is no reason to do Invincible v Gohan as Gohan would absolutely destroy him in like a second.
The weird thing about this fight is that both characters have such massive advantages in both fields. Omni Man is literally thousands, if not millions of times faster due to the galaxy crossing feat. And he has the stamina to outlast Bardock as Saiyans admittedly aren't that well equipped for longer drawn out fights at max power due to ki naturally having a limited supply. And Bardock is so much stronger that he could potentially instakill Omni Man with a lucky shot. And given his ability of the range advantage, his wider array of abilities that grant arena control, and the being able to more than effortlessly tank really anything Omni Man throws at him due to the toei non canon inclusions(which admittedly I personally would not include as it directly contradicts the main canon as a completely different saiyan is what achieves the form ages ago with a direct name too with Yamoshi. It is very definitely not Bardock)
I always figured Omni-Man vs Bardock would've been the first episode with it being the first MU we were shown, glad to see it's confirmed. I just hope Super Saiyan isn't used to have some uniqueness from other Dragon Ball episodes.
Rooting Bardock Betting Bardock Omniman is barely planet level to star level unless you grant his crossover scaling that puts him at Universal. Meanwhile, Bardock should easily be able to destroy planets to even stars based on his power level of 10,000-60,000 depending on how you interpret the super manga. And then a 10x boost for Ozaru and 50x for Super Saiyan. Speed is arguable, but Omniman, even if he could blitz Bardock, he couldn't really hurt him except potentially base.
Burdock actually scales to a goku anime feat pre gravity training were he doges a mentor outside his spaceship going the opposite way. That ship was going from one region of the universe to another in just a few days- so alot more then from one galaxy to another
Bardock wins. His power level was at 10,000 and at around the same power level, Vegeta was able to blow up a planet. Then on top of that he has the Ozaru which is a 10x multiplayer so he is above planet level. Meanwhile it took 3 viltrumite to do the same thing Note: King Vegeta blowing up those 3 planets was filler. I read the manga and it didn’t happen
It really depends on how they treat Bardock because i think he has a chance to win. I think if hes able to get into Oozaru he definitely wins otherwise Omniman has a chance to win.
When they did the Cast on Bardock VS Omni-Man, they ran a poll to see if the viewers would want Super Saiyan included if they were to ever do an official episode. The result was an overwhelming "Yes." So, if they do include it and the fanbase complains, they brought this upon themselves.
They will likely give the planet punch to Omniman but they really shouldn't. He had help from 2 others, the core was already unstable, and they had to strike a specific spot anyway. So Bardock takes AP Omniman likely has speed, but it is generally out of character to speed-blitz and he has been hit by slower characters before.
Time Flyes… For Another Death Battle!!!!! A nice matchup to return the series as this fight made the most sense to start off with in completion and hype. I’m fine for either winning as DA animated the fight to make a great time. Overall, great prediction to watch again, and can not wait to see the date of return. Another Thing, Sayians have a Zenkai Boost which means when they are close to death they get a big power boost after recovering from life threatening injuries.
That match would be somewhat close but Omni-man would win... unless Bardock went super saiyan. If it was in DeathBattle's hands, they'd probably go with all official Movies/Anime as continuity... So yea Bardock wins unless Omni-man can get a quick kill before he transforms... which would never happen with Deathbattle writing... so Bardock wins.
There's also that offhanded comment that Omni-Man is stronger than Omnipotus who has the collective strength of an entire solar system, but people don't like using it because its an off handed character bio
Bardock clearly has the power advantage, but Nolan’s much superior speed is certainly quite a factor. Albeit his main factor. Early DB characters were already moon busters, and Omni Man’s best solo feat isn’t even planetary, his only planetary feat was with help from Mark, Thaedus, and Space Racer and they barely destroyed a planet with that much assistance. Bardock is easily many times stronger than Master Roshi when he blew up the moon in early DB.
Even with Mark and Thaedus, they still needed Space Racer’s help shooting through the core, even with Viltrum being twice as large as the Earth it doesn’t mean much when Nolan only contributed a 1/4th of the feat. 🤷♂️
Bardock wins. He's definitely tougher than Omniman and is more durable than him. A saiyan can get more powerful after a near death experience, and Bardock has ki which consists of heat. Viltrumites are weak to heat. While Bardock does have the hax and Versatility to put Omni man down for good it's down to him matching Omni man's speed in which I think he does in my opinion. And besides Bardocks feats are far higher than Omni man's. Omni Man can destroy a moon by flying through it while Bardock and other saiyans such as Vegeta can casually destroy planets just with a finger point.
it was power lvl of 710 and it was casual and he vaporized it making it a planet lvl feat which also thing to note Roshi did the same with power lvl of 180
If we use Roshi for example 180*50 (Earth is about 50* larger than the moon) that means 10k would make sense to be around planetary although power levels aren't very good for multipliers so
It's less "Super Saiyan doesn't increase speed" and more "Nolan still runs circles around Bardock even with a 50x multiplier". Which one is the stronger and tougher between them is debatable, and that's what makes the matchup debatable overall. If Bardock gets the power and durability advantage by a significant margin, he wins. If not, then he doesn't have a chance because Nolan has almost every other advantage, some of which (like speed and experience) he takes by a massive margin.
My prediction depends on one major thing, are they giving Bardok Super Saiyan. If not Noland has this in a fairly high diff fight. If they are then Bardok got this easy. In the podcast about this fight a while ago they uncertain if they should count it, and it felt like they were leaning toward no but a crowd poll said they should count it, so they most likely will but I hope they don't. We've seen Super Saiyans before and frankly I find flat power multipliers boring. With all that said however, as long as there's a scene of Bardok going Great Ape and Omniman destroying the moon to turn him back, I'll be happy.
There’s another factor to consider for Bardock. When a Saiyan survives a fatal blow, their power grows significantly. So even if Omniman was stronger, it wouldn’t matter as much because Bardock’s power could just increase during the fight to match and/or surpass him. Then again, the real deciding factor to me is if Omniman’s healing factor can withstand Bardock’s ki attacks. Even though viltrumite healing factors are vulnerable to heat from a sun, that still took quite a bit of time. So if Omniman’s healing and durability surpasses what Bardock can dish out, then Omniman will win. If not, then Bardock wins.
@@Dario-z4git’s both actually, saiyans have two abilities, one being zenkais, which means a power boost after near death, and the ability to get stronger as they continue fighting, people tend to merge these two abilities when they’re actually two different things
@@Dario-z4g it’s a sort of slept on ability which is why people confuse it with zenkais, but an example of it is vegeta vs granola, granola was stronger at the beginning, but through the fight vegeta started doing better and better because he was getting stronger throughout, stated by even vegeta himself

It hasn't been said out loud too many times, but yeah it's true. From a debate perspective they basically just start the characters off in their strongest forms.
@SithfruitWatermelon it ties in with the "a character's maximum potential is analyzed" thing. I can see how that could be annoying, especially in instances where the outcome could change because of it, but I'm at least happy they're consistent with it.
@SithfruitWatermelon there are probably a handful of episodes you could argue would have the opposite outcome if they didn't do that. Trunks VS Silver is what comes to my mind, but I assume it could apply to Vader VS Obito too.
Great ape should be more than enough blasting Omni man if 10k power level is enough to blow out the planet and x10 power boost from great ape is more than enough omni man greatest feat combined attack to destroy a dying planet .

The thing with Omni-Man is that viltrumites rely more on Close Quarters combat meanwhile Sayians like Bardock usually to do the same but they also can use ki attacks to fight from a distance or just go great ape and just get everything said and done

If Omni Man is being compared to Bardock then I'd assume he isnt that strong if they are both being put up together as a fight. I no nothing of that show but I assumed he was OP as hell but apparently not.

I personally believe the *splat* factor is gonna come into play here, considering its present in both series (Moro breaking his hand when punching goku / the half viltrums splatting when tackling Mark), which, to those that dont know, in both series (Although its shown a lot more in invincible) when the gap of strenght between two characters is too big, the weaker character will end up harming themselves when attacking the stronger one, coined as the splat factor due to it happening a lot in invincible when characters fly into others and *splat* like bugs in a windshield
If the gap in power between Bardock and Nolan really is that high, Nolan's speed might end up getting him Splatted against Bardock, either outright killing him, or giving Bardock a window to get a good hit in to end the fight
In the legend of manga, toriyama stated that 10K units of power is needed to destroy a planet like earth so to destroy a planet like planet Vegeta by the way, it gets 100K. You dont need to scale to king vegeta.
I'm going with Bardock especially since they are giving Bardock the other movies and whatnot to get his Super Saiyan form (not even sure if he even needs them either). Also, kind of a theme for DragonBall characters in that as long as they don't fight comic book characters (DC/Archie/some Marvel) then they will win EVERY SINGLE TIME. Most if not the majority of shows/anime and whatnot can't keep up with DB scaling unless it is comic book bs stuff. This episode is basically saying that there is no reason to do Invincible v Gohan as Gohan would absolutely destroy him in like a second.
The weird thing about this fight is that both characters have such massive advantages in both fields.
Omni Man is literally thousands, if not millions of times faster due to the galaxy crossing feat. And he has the stamina to outlast Bardock as Saiyans admittedly aren't that well equipped for longer drawn out fights at max power due to ki naturally having a limited supply.
And Bardock is so much stronger that he could potentially instakill Omni Man with a lucky shot. And given his ability of the range advantage, his wider array of abilities that grant arena control, and the being able to more than effortlessly tank really anything Omni Man throws at him due to the toei non canon inclusions(which admittedly I personally would not include as it directly contradicts the main canon as a completely different saiyan is what achieves the form ages ago with a direct name too with Yamoshi. It is very definitely not Bardock)

I always figured Omni-Man vs Bardock would've been the first episode with it being the first MU we were shown, glad to see it's confirmed. I just hope Super Saiyan isn't used to have some uniqueness from other Dragon Ball episodes.

Omniman is barely planet level to star level unless you grant his crossover scaling that puts him at Universal.
Meanwhile, Bardock should easily be able to destroy planets to even stars based on his power level of 10,000-60,000 depending on how you interpret the super manga. And then a 10x boost for Ozaru and 50x for Super Saiyan.
Speed is arguable, but Omniman, even if he could blitz Bardock, he couldn't really hurt him except potentially base.

Burdock actually scales to a goku anime feat pre gravity training were he doges a mentor outside his spaceship going the opposite way.
That ship was going from one region of the universe to another in just a few days- so alot more then from one galaxy to another

Bardock wins. His power level was at 10,000 and at around the same power level, Vegeta was able to blow up a planet. Then on top of that he has the Ozaru which is a 10x multiplayer so he is above planet level. Meanwhile it took 3 viltrumite to do the same thing
Note: King Vegeta blowing up those 3 planets was filler. I read the manga and it didn’t happen

It really depends on how they treat Bardock because i think he has a chance to win.
I think if hes able to get into Oozaru he definitely wins otherwise Omniman has a chance to win.
When they did the Cast on Bardock VS Omni-Man, they ran a poll to see if the viewers would want Super Saiyan included if they were to ever do an official episode. The result was an overwhelming "Yes." So, if they do include it and the fanbase complains, they brought this upon themselves.

A nice matchup to return the series as this fight made the most sense to start off with in completion and hype. I’m fine for either winning as DA animated the fight to make a great time.

Another Thing, Sayians have a Zenkai Boost which means when they are close to death they get a big power boost after recovering from life threatening injuries.
While that's true, Bardock doesn't have a way to do that on his own. Healing pods take time and he's never had access to sensu beans.

There's also that offhanded comment that Omni-Man is stronger than Omnipotus who has the collective strength of an entire solar system, but people don't like using it because its an off handed character bio

Bardock clearly has the power advantage, but Nolan’s much superior speed is certainly quite a factor. Albeit his main factor. Early DB characters were already moon busters, and Omni Man’s best solo feat isn’t even planetary, his only planetary feat was with help from Mark, Thaedus, and Space Racer and they barely destroyed a planet with that much assistance. Bardock is easily many times stronger than Master Roshi when he blew up the moon in early DB.
Viltrum is 2x the size of Earth IDK where you dudes are getting barely from
Even with Mark and Thaedus, they still needed Space Racer’s help shooting through the core, even with Viltrum being twice as large as the Earth it doesn’t mean much when Nolan only contributed a 1/4th of the feat. 🤷♂️
Bardock wins. He's definitely tougher than Omniman and is more durable than him. A saiyan can get more powerful after a near death experience, and Bardock has ki which consists of heat. Viltrumites are weak to heat. While Bardock does have the hax and Versatility to put Omni man down for good it's down to him matching Omni man's speed in which I think he does in my opinion. And besides Bardocks feats are far higher than Omni man's. Omni Man can destroy a moon by flying through it while Bardock and other saiyans such as Vegeta can casually destroy planets just with a finger point.
Lasers also consist of heat but Omni Man can tank those

@@spinozilla2421 There’s a different between normal attacks (matching PLv) and overclocking attacks (attacks go far above PLv due to ki compression)
If we use Roshi for example 180*50 (Earth is about 50* larger than the moon) that means 10k would make sense to be around planetary although power levels aren't very good for multipliers so

It's less "Super Saiyan doesn't increase speed" and more "Nolan still runs circles around Bardock even with a 50x multiplier". Which one is the stronger and tougher between them is debatable, and that's what makes the matchup debatable overall. If Bardock gets the power and durability advantage by a significant margin, he wins. If not, then he doesn't have a chance because Nolan has almost every other advantage, some of which (like speed and experience) he takes by a massive margin.

My prediction depends on one major thing, are they giving Bardok Super Saiyan. If not Noland has this in a fairly high diff fight. If they are then Bardok got this easy. In the podcast about this fight a while ago they uncertain if they should count it, and it felt like they were leaning toward no but a crowd poll said they should count it, so they most likely will but I hope they don't. We've seen Super Saiyans before and frankly I find flat power multipliers boring.
With all that said however, as long as there's a scene of Bardok going Great Ape and Omniman destroying the moon to turn him back, I'll be happy.

There’s another factor to consider for Bardock. When a Saiyan survives a fatal blow, their power grows significantly. So even if Omniman was stronger, it wouldn’t matter as much because Bardock’s power could just increase during the fight to match and/or surpass him. Then again, the real deciding factor to me is if Omniman’s healing factor can withstand Bardock’s ki attacks. Even though viltrumite healing factors are vulnerable to heat from a sun, that still took quite a bit of time. So if Omniman’s healing and durability surpasses what Bardock can dish out, then Omniman will win. If not, then Bardock wins.

@@Dario-z4git’s both actually, saiyans have two abilities, one being zenkais, which means a power boost after near death, and the ability to get stronger as they continue fighting, people tend to merge these two abilities when they’re actually two different things

It hasn't been said out loud too many times, but yeah it's true. From a debate perspective they basically just start the characters off in their strongest forms.

@SithfruitWatermelon it ties in with the "a character's maximum potential is analyzed" thing. I can see how that could be annoying, especially in instances where the outcome could change because of it, but I'm at least happy they're consistent with it.
@SithfruitWatermelon there are probably a handful of episodes you could argue would have the opposite outcome if they didn't do that. Trunks VS Silver is what comes to my mind, but I assume it could apply to Vader VS Obito too.
Great ape should be more than enough blasting Omni man if 10k power level is enough to blow out the planet and x10 power boost from great ape is more than enough omni man greatest feat combined attack to destroy a dying planet .
