You could ask the same question about Spongebob, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Larry the Lobster, etc. By the same logic any of them could just as easily be the secret ingredient. At one point Krabs takes a bite of a krabby patty and says “so that’s what I taste like.” While this is a fun idea, he’s saying this because another fish just compared the old and dry taste of the sandwich to Mr. Krabs. Mr. Krabs has definitely eaten Krabby Patties before, so if they were crab meat he wouldn’t be saying “so that’s what I taste like” as if he’s never tried them before. The Krusty Krab is shaped like a Crab-Trap. It's been confirmed that it's actually based on a lobster trap, not a crab trap.
you know how the pets are worms and snails? they are less advanced then fish even when they were primal so when the radiation hit they got more advanced like snails could say meow and the worms could bark so they did evlove

The theory of Pearl's mother being used to feed fish for years has some basis in reality. When whales die, their corpses sink to the seafloor and are scavenged by a wide variety of species. This is called a "whalefall" and it can sustain a mini-ecosystem for *years.*
Definetly believable since Stephen hillenburg studied marine biology. Would definitely expect him to base his work on reality during the making but also make it subtle enough that when you don't know it, you don't see it.
Adding more to this theory, in the episode "Spongicus" (the one where Plankton turns the Chum Bucket into the Colosseum), Plankton reveals the ingredients for chumsticks as the following: Jellyfish squeezings; Seahorse snout; Sprinkle of anchor rust, and.... The Question now is, did he really adopt Pearl because he feels bad about her mothers death? If he uses her mother as meat for the krabby patty he clearly can't feel to bad about it, what if instead he took her in and is spoiling her in hopes that she grows up big so she can supply more meat once her mother is all used up.

I can see it in his eyes. He looks away when he notices me starring back. We get to the Krusty Krab. Daddy tells me to follow him. It's empty; Squidward and Spongebob's usual banter is nowhere to be heard. That's strange, Daddy never gives them a day off. Daddy leads me to the kitchen, not his office, where the formula is. He leads me to the freezer. He tells me he loves me. He closes the door.
See- here’s the thing. According to Planktons Intern, Pearl knows the formula. And while this theory disproves it totally, I’d like to think this so that I don’t lose my love for the series entirely.

This theory started off with humans documenting this higher intelligent fish species, observing and learning from them, but if higher intelligent life exists on land (i.e. Sandy Cheeks and other ape species) .. Why would undersea life be more intriguing to study? Unless life on land isn't as evolved in the Spongebob universe, and these are the only other animals that share human characteristics... So again, how did Sandy become so advanced? In my opinion, Alex should do a background history on each character, and go from there.

the ending was crazy genius, he showed that he is self aware that no one cares about his films, and gave a valid reason to "chase for clouts" and denied future attacks that may tell him he is a "sellout".

Krabs being in a war against primitive fish actually makes much more sense after you consider Krabs and one of his ship crews were once attacked by the abominable snow mollusk. Maybe attacks like that kept happening over time to other Bikini Bottomites and led to the war and Krabs joined the war because of that event, realizing the threat of primitive creatures firsthand.
The end of the video where it's like 'I gave you views and everything, if you ditch me, you'll be unknown again blah blah blah, keep focusing on me instead of doing what you like because no one cares about your other stuff blah blah blah'? The guilt of killing Pearl’s mother and discovering she had an infant daughter consumed his soul to the point where he adopted her and goes to extreme lengths to work and earn money to distract himself from not only the guilt of that but also the stress of other hardships in his life

A worthless hat he graverobbed for, throwing away a friend for money (both plankton and sponge Bob), being annoyed by the teens who he hired to replace sponge Bob and squidward with when they went on strike, being stung to hell an back when abusing WILD jellyfish, being pelted with peanuts (and maybe facing jail time) for stealing a giant oyster's pearl-like egg. (look just cuz he thought it was a Pearl and didn't know it was an egg doesn't change that he still stole something important to the oyster.) Plus the idea krabs would fatten his daughter up like that ignores that he's willing to prioritize her happiness over his own selfishness. Another point towards this theory being canon is the show's creators using marine biology in tons of aspects in the show, and "Whale falls" (Where a whale dies and sinks to the bottom of the ocean) are often described as "restraunts" for tons of different fish. Not the timeframe, but in how it all actually works, details below: The meat/soft tissues actually gets picked off by bigger scavengers like sharks, octopus, and giant isopods pretty quickly. Then comes polychaete worms, tiny little crustaceans, and mollusks that basically clean everything up, including the sand/sediment around the "fall" and I believe inside the bones for their marrow but don't quote me on that, lol. So... it's technically the Sulfophilic stage that lasts the longest! Special bacteria break down the lipids in the bones to produce sulfide, that attracts thick bacterial mats, mussels and tube worms. There's even been new studies on types of life that thrive specifically off whale falls, technicalities of there being a "reef stage" all around neat stuff! Our oceans are so amazing. :]

Another potential problem with this theory is that Mr. Krabs is canonically in his 50’s-60’s, and Pearl, for most of the show, is not yet 18. The show seems to imply that Krabs was a soldier is his youth, and that the Krusty Krab has been open for a couple of decades. If Krabs really got Pearl after the war and before the KK, one would think she’d be significantly older than she is in the show.
He must've killed a whale before Pearl's mother and only hunted her once that whale's body ran out of meat to use. Even if we assume Pearl is gonna be used next, Mr Krabs wouldn't be able to use her. Not only would he have gotten attached to her by then, but even if he didn't, she's too young. Not to mention, going by her age, by the time she is old enough to become Krabby Patty meat, Krabs would've been old and dead before he even saw her grow up. Am I reading into this too much? Maybe. Would it be a viable solution to allow Pearl to live against this cruel fate? Maybe, maybe not. Would I make it happen so Pearl gets to live? Absolutely!

Honestly the whale part makes a lot of sense. When a whale dies and falls to the ocean bottom, it provides enough food to make an entire temporary mini-ecosystem.

Riddle me this: Pearl is only about 16, but in the Spongebob movie, we learn that Spongebob has 374 employee of the month awards, implying he's been working there for over 30 years. In fact, according to Atlantis Squarepantis (or Truth or Square, those episodes are basically the same in my mind), we learn that the Krusty Krab has existed since before Spongebob was even born. Plus, in The Chaperone, it's heavily implied that Spongebob is way too old for Pearl's school prom. So how can Pearl's mom be the meat used for the Krabby Patties when the Krabby Patty has existed longer than Pearl herself?

I think if you want you should make a theory about Patrick Star. How he's insanely smart and acting stupid or plotting something. Also does he have a job ? How does he pay for his food and electricity? Is he taking advantage of Spongebob or is his family wealthy.
He actually is smart. Theres a episode where he wears the wrong head and the new head starts his brain up again. He is now even more smarter than Sandy and it drives him to insanity. So he calls spongebob to help him become dumb again because he was happy when he was dumb. They end up finding his old head and it stops his brain. So now hes dumb but he's at least happy
Also tvs in the spongebob universe dont need to be plugged In to work. So he dosent need electricity. And he eats out of the trash in some episodes because he has no money. When he dose eat a krabby patty he had to work for free because he has no money to pay for it. And spongebob mostly pays for his food. He also barely sees his family. About the war: There was an episode called "The Battle of Bikini Bottom", where Patrick describes the battle to be Dirty vs Clean. But then someone mentions that Patrick was completely wrong. What if this is referencing the battle between primitive vs evolved?
Additional thought: So how is Pearl evolved when her mother was unevolved? Maybe she’s not evolved or only partially evolved, and her being raised in an evolved society made her able to talk and fit in. But then why isn’t she massive like her mother? In the episode “Growth Spout” Pearl goes through a sudden growth spurt and briefly grows massively, bigger than any evolved whale in Bikini Bottom. So maybe she will resemble her unevolved mother when she’s fully grown.

While the theory was great as always, and I’m glad Alex is getting attention from them, the lack of conversation in the comments about the the ending of this video and how it sets up and adds soooo much to the context of the previous theory videos and what will come after, as well as its stand alone merit, since the symbolism here is clearly the struggle that RUclipsr’s face when it comes to passion vs. views, audience expectation vs. creator wants, and originality vs. successful, repetitive formulas, is a real shame. Yes, the theory videos are damn good with lots of attention to detail and some very strong evidence to back them up (as any believable theory should provide), but there’s also so much going on that is not getting the attention it deserves or being talked about! (Not to mention the fact Alex has made several other RUclips channels to tie into this ARG/storyline with the Muse (the creative giving him the theories) and how being successful on RUclips can mean churning out the same content over and over again and making money, but finding yourself stuck in a creative rut, unable to pursue your truest passions, and even being *afraid* to do so because of how they may be received by your audience.) If anyone is interested in what I mean and would like to know more about the bigger picture, how other RUclips channels tie in, and what the Muse is, Inside a Mind dropped a video today that covers a lot of what has been released. There’s also a theorist group on Alex Bale’s subreddit-if I’m not mistaken-that has documented like *everything* involved in this alternate reality story. I've never understood why, whenever fish eat other fish, people call it cannibalism. Cannibalism is when something eats another member of the SAME SPECIES. Y'all know there are many, many species of fish, right? Calling a fish that eats fish a cannibal is like calling humans cannibals for eating other mammals like cows and pigs unless it's specifically eating a fish of the same species.

There's not really such a thing as "more evolved" only differently evolved to adapt to different circumstances. Additionally, with how genetically distinct the Bikini Bottom fish are from their real world counterparts, them eating one another is no different from a grouper eating a clownfish. I know that wasn't the point of your comment I just wanted to share that, but, to actually answer the question, a human eating an ape wouldn't be cannibalism because we're not of the same species only the same order.

First person I've seen to point out the ending, so I'm going to let you in on a theory... He's not stopped making films. This is all definitely connected, not just through allegories, but his own character of himself. The obvious allegory here is that the algorithm is holding him hostage, but the implication is that Alex Bale the character is being held hostage. Whatever he makes next is going to be what he wants to make. But it's just a theory.
I like that you guys turn this into a theory but I think sadly some stuff just isn’t that deep. He used an artistic expression in his style as a cry for help. If I remember correctly, in the episode where Gary was missing (episode: have you seen this snail), the old lady was always over feeding Gary and at the end of the episode showed that she eats snails (un-evolved animals) so it proofs that they really eat the other animals

Why is Mr Krabs the only crab in Bikini Bottom except for his family? You could ask the same question about Spongebob, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Larry the Lobster, etc. By the same logic any of them could just as easily be the secret ingredient.
At one point Krabs takes a bite of a krabby patty and says “so that’s what I taste like.” While this is a fun idea, he’s saying this because another fish just compared the old and dry taste of the sandwich to Mr. Krabs. Mr. Krabs has definitely eaten Krabby Patties before, so if they were crab meat he wouldn’t be saying “so that’s what I taste like” as if he’s never tried them before.

This theory started off with humans documenting this higher intelligent fish species, observing and learning from them, but if higher intelligent life exists on land (i.e. Sandy Cheeks and other ape species) .. Why would undersea life be more intriguing to study? Unless life on land isn't as evolved in the Spongebob universe, and these are the only other animals that share human characteristics... So again, how did Sandy become so advanced?

Krabs being in a war against primitive fish actually makes much more sense after you consider Krabs and one of his ship crews were once attacked by the abominable snow mollusk. Maybe attacks like that kept happening over time to other Bikini Bottomites and led to the war and Krabs joined the war because of that event, realizing the threat of primitive creatures firsthand.

All of this! Now obviously this doesn't excuse his actions but it does help explain it. Plus it's pretty clear Krabs dose get his punishment for his crimes. A worthless hat he graverobbed for, throwing away a friend for money (both plankton and sponge Bob), being annoyed by the teens who he hired to replace sponge Bob and squidward with when they went on strike, being stung to hell an back when abusing WILD jellyfish, being pelted with peanuts (and maybe facing jail time) for stealing a giant oyster's pearl-like egg. (look just cuz he thought it was a Pearl and didn't know it was an egg doesn't change that he still stole something important to the oyster.)
Plus the idea krabs would fatten his daughter up like that ignores that he's willing to prioritize her happiness over his own selfishness. Hell the tell tale boots show us another karmic punishment for not just being cheap with his family but lying to spongebob. That and when spongebob had to pretend to be him infront of his navy friends? He gets annoyed and offended when spongebob suggests he'd do a surgery on his own daughter just to save money. Heck, when Pearl was working at the krusty/kuddly crab? Yes he put his profits first but his primary concern was how firing his own daughter would affect their relationship as family. Pearls prom date ditches? He dose everything he can to make sure she has a date. His relationship with Mrs. Puffs has him having to choose between the two and eventually he figures out she isn't interested in his money, she's interested in him.
So while crabs is terrible at priorities? At least he actually cares and comes to his senses.

Im assuming that the black shadow is a representation of his mind, thats why it’s forcing it to make theories instead of short films, its making him not follow what he’s actually passionate about.
Another point towards this theory being canon is the show's creators using marine biology in tons of aspects in the show, and "Whale falls" (Where a whale dies and sinks to the bottom of the ocean) are often described as "restraunts" for tons of different fish. This creates an ecosystem/"restaurant" that thrives from anywhere between 50-100 years! Super cool stuff. :]

The meat/soft tissues actually gets picked off by bigger scavengers like sharks, octopus, and giant isopods pretty quickly.
Then comes polychaete worms, tiny little crustaceans, and mollusks that basically clean everything up, including the sand/sediment around the "fall" and I believe inside the bones for their marrow but don't quote me on that, lol.
So... it's technically the Sulfophilic stage that lasts the longest! Special bacteria break down the lipids in the bones to produce sulfide, that attracts thick bacterial mats, mussels and tube worms.
There's even been new studies on types of life that thrive specifically off whale falls, technicalities of there being a "reef stage" all around neat stuff! Our oceans are so amazing. :]

Anyone else noticed how Alex used the Spongebob background music so perfectly throughout all of his videos?
Another potential problem with this theory is that Mr. Krabs is canonically in his 50’s-60’s, and Pearl, for most of the show, is not yet 18. The show seems to imply that Krabs was a soldier is his youth, and that the Krusty Krab has been open for a couple of decades. If Krabs really got Pearl after the war and before the KK, one would think she’d be significantly older than she is in the show.
He must've killed a whale before Pearl's mother and only hunted her once that whale's body ran out of meat to use. Even if we assume Pearl is gonna be used next, Mr Krabs wouldn't be able to use her. Not only would he have gotten attached to her by then, but even if he didn't, she's too young. Not to mention, going by her age, by the time she is old enough to become Krabby Patty meat, Krabs would've been old and dead before he even saw her grow up. Am I reading into this too much? Maybe. Would it be a viable solution to allow Pearl to live against this cruel fate? Maybe, maybe not. Would I make it happen so Pearl gets to live? Absolutely!

Plus, in The Chaperone, it's heavily implied that Spongebob is way too old for Pearl's school prom. I think if you want you should make a theory about Patrick Star. How he's insanely smart and acting stupid or plotting something. Also does he have a job ? How does he pay for his food and electricity? Is he taking advantage of Spongebob or is his family wealthy.
He actually is smart. Theres a episode where he wears the wrong head and the new head starts his brain up again. He is now even more smarter than Sandy and it drives him to insanity. Maybe she’s not evolved or only partially evolved, and her being raised in an evolved society made her able to talk and fit in.
But then why isn’t she massive like her mother? In the episode “Growth Spout” Pearl goes through a sudden growth spurt and briefly grows massively, bigger than any evolved whale in Bikini Bottom. So maybe she will resemble her unevolved mother when she’s fully grown.

While the theory was great as always, and I’m glad Alex is getting attention from them, the lack of conversation in the comments about the the ending of this video and how it sets up and adds soooo much to the context of the previous theory videos and what will come after, as well as its stand alone merit, since the symbolism here is clearly the struggle that RUclipsr’s face when it comes to passion vs. views, audience expectation vs. creator wants, and originality vs. successful, repetitive formulas, is a real shame. Yes, the theory videos are damn good with lots of attention to detail and some very strong evidence to back them up (as any believable theory should provide), but there’s also so much going on that is not getting the attention it deserves or being talked about! I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but from what I remember, I thought Pearl was NOT a fan of the Krabby Patty as well, which I thought was interesting 🤔
I think it's because either A she's a teenager and preferred stuff like salads and kelp to watch her wait or B mr. Krabs downright lied and said it's something gross. Even when she's at the krusty krab mr. Krabs always brings her either water or a salad. So I honestly believe it's cause she's a teenaged girl. Maybe both.

I've never understood why, whenever fish eat other fish, people call it cannibalism. Cannibalism is when something eats another member of the SAME SPECIES. Y'all know there are many, many species of fish, right? @@Nu_Uh_Uh. Apes are not really "devolved" versions of humans. We come from a common ancestor; humans are not the next step from apes. There's not really such a thing as "more evolved" only differently evolved to adapt to different circumstances. Additionally, with how genetically distinct the Bikini Bottom fish are from their real world counterparts, them eating one another is no different from a grouper eating a clownfish. I know that wasn't the point of your comment I just wanted to share that, but, to actually answer the question, a human eating an ape wouldn't be cannibalism because we're not of the same species only the same order.
In fairness, there are how many species of fish in Bikini Bottom? Odds are, at least half have committed cannibalism against their own species, on top of eating the species of their friends and neighbors

First person I've seen to point out the ending, so I'm going to let you in on a theory...
He's not stopped making films. This is all definitely connected, not just through allegories, but his own character of himself. The obvious allegory here is that the algorithm is holding him hostage, but the implication is that Alex Bale the character is being held hostage. Whatever he makes next is going to be what he wants to make.

I like that you guys turn this into a theory but I think sadly some stuff just isn’t that deep. He used an artistic expression in his style as a cry for help. But there isn’t anything romantic about it imo, all I see is a man who feels betrayed by the youtube algorithm and pressured into doing stuff he doesn’t really care for as much as he used to by people who (at least partly) do not care for any of his own art projects and not some deep ARG.

If I remember correctly, in the episode where Gary was missing (episode: have you seen this snail), the old lady was always over feeding Gary and at the end of the episode showed that she eats snails (un-evolved animals) so it proofs that they really eat the other animals
