  • Everyone starts somewhere. It's all well and good to talk about making $20,000 or $30,000 per month but for many people they simply want to quit their job and have their time and freedom back.
I did it from nothing and so can you.

You sound just like me, but I'm older.
I'm turning 40 in a few days, I left my job, am currently unemployed, and am trying to get my roof cleaning, soft/pressure business going. I finally have everything I need to get started right IMO, but I'm stressed like an MFer about it. It's just a matter of getting the clients and I HATE door knocking as well. I'll be putting out flyers, doing a little door knocking, and looking into facebook ads tomorrow.
I just wanted to say that your videos can be inspirational and have helped boost my mood about it.

Love hearing the journey man! That’s the problem with today’s society. People quit once they face adversity. Sometimes you just needa f*ck it and keep going. Pushing to make my first $10k this month. Cheers to a great 2024!

I needed this. I do carpet, tile & grout, upholstery cleaning. I did one job that paid me enough to cover my bills for a few months right when I started, and since then I’ve hit a rough couple of months. I need to get past my fear and just go door to door now. The occasional call for appointments aren’t generating enough for me yet, so I just have to man up and succeed.

Yup, yeah it can be scary but just knowing that no matter what you will do what it takes to succeed. Our anscestors all sailed across the sea having no idea what they would find over here, the human spirit is stronger than we give it credit for

I’m very interested in starting my own business I want to do pest control but gutter cleaning sounds fun and a good way to get your foot in the door I live in Tennessee but my question is what do you do in winter do you just bring it out all summer long to have enough to last thru winter or are there things you can still do in the winter ??

After you put the powder on the roof, do you just let it sit there?

Wouldn't it make more sense to bag 95% of the rubbish in the gutters in a plastic bag first? THEN use leaf blower to get any leftover dirt out? Seems weird to just blow it all to the ground to just pick it up later.

Real question: When you put ads up OR when you knock(ed) on doors, do you use bad language? If the answer is no, then why do you use bad language here? ---This is, after all, an extension of your income.
I believe there are a portion of people who don't care about your language, but you are, for sure, not gaining as much traction on YT as you would otherwise without it. Do what you want, you of course have free speech, but give this some thought, from a business perspective.
