Such suburbs are what make NC rank high among the best states indeed!

My family and I moved to Huntersville from the NYC area a few years ago. We had to escape the high cost of living, congestion and grime of the NYC area. We had picked CHARLOTTE as a place to look for a home to buy but 'slipped' up and stumbled upon Huntersville. This town is a relatively unspoiled hidden gem of a suburb. Many Huntersville residents are transplants from the NE. Proof is evident in the strange occurrence of Buffalo Bills fans in this town 😆. >>>Very nice and informative video ( I didn't know about the North Creek Village Complex spot).

Thank you for the comment and kind words. Huntersville is definitely a great place to live. It offers a great location. Plenty of living options and several things to do for the entire family. So glad you are enjoying it.

Yea try to find place to park at Birkdale Village that’s an hour long ride around process. The gridlock traffic, no sidewalks, year after year road construction, poor public schools if your on the southeast side of town. We have watched the Huntersville government allow our town to be overwhelmed the last 20 years on two lane roads. As soon as our daughter graduates high school we are gone! You should have done video tape of exit 23 and downtown Huntersville not only exit 25. Embarrassing. Northstone has a multi year wait list to join good luck.

As a Statistical Analysis since 1985 and Relocation Specialist, the “best” suburbs (which is a bit relative) are going to be outside of Mecklenburg County. You get more bang for your buck per home, lower overall cost of living, great quality of life, and great freeway access to the metro area as a whole in suburbs like Belmont, Mt. Holly, Ft. Mill, Mooresville, and Harrisburg. More rural/small town areas within the metro I recommend are Kings Mountain, Lincolnton, and Clover.

Hey… Thanks for the comment. Yes you are 100% correct. Huntersville has been ranked nationally as one of the top places to live but from a local standpoint you are 100% correct there are several incredible areas outside of Mecklenburg County in the Charlotte area that are phenomenal places to live. Our “Charlotte area tours” playlist features many of them. Your list is spot on. Thanks again for commenting and watching.

Yes, but if one wants easier access to Charlotte, Huntersville is one of the best options within Meck County.

Great video Craig! In Canada a median home is priced at 1.4 million for the lot sized and the houses are comparitively very small to the houses in the USA and looks like the quality of life is even better there in the USA especially Charlotte NC. Do you see people moving from Canada to the USA?. Nice video by the way.

Hey… Thank you for the comment. Wow, those are some high prices up there. I’ve been to Canada several times and it is beautiful. Yes we do have a decent amount of people each year moving from Canada to the Charlotte area.

Why there are no people by the pool, coffee shops, tennis courts, volleyball? It's summer -- in California all of that is packed

Thanks for watching. Appreciate the kind words. When I filmed the pool area it was earlier in the morning. It gets much busier in the afternoon.

The time of day. But you did see people at spots like Birkdale and who wants large crowds everywhere all the time. This is why many move from more congested areas. If one prefers more action one can get that in parts of cali or to max out move to NYC! The lack of congestion is why there are so many Huntersville residents from more crowded locales. My family and I moved here 3 yrs ago (when home values and interest rates were MUCH, MUCH lower than they are now) from the congested and overrun NYC/NJ area and haven't looked back.
