  • On an early Saturday morning I was heading out for some backcountry ski adventure but ended up stuck in the backcountry traffic. It's amazing how many people are eager to get stuck in the snow:). While it is kind of fun it was not what I was hoping for. After good part of my day waiting for other people to get unstuck and helping to pull others out of the ditch I arrive at nearby ski resort in well into the afternoon. As it is about to get dark soon I realize there is not enough time to wonder too far in the backcountry and I decide to do some snowpack testing instead.

Nice rig! seems like you drive in snow quite a bit. I was considering the coopers like it seems you have however in PA I shoe the falken widpeak AT3W with the 3 peak snow rating. You might want to consider a tire with the 3PMSF for the next set which will help tremendously in snow. Love the color on your PW. Considering getting one myself!

I chose Cooper AT3 XLTs because I only hit the snow once I go deep into woods so I considered M+S is good enough for me, there is almost never snow on roads or highways around where I live. I carry chains though which I rarely use as in most cases I get through with few attempts. Thanks.

Зачем зимой на летней резине двигаться.
