Quite the scandal actually, It was in all the magazines at the time.
I love when the simulator accidentally constructs story arcs because 18:30 on was such a storytelling slay for Katya's win. Katya and Mac teaming up to avenge angry coconut, and Ethel Cain tragically caught in the crosshairs, and the teamup persists until Mitchell hears RuPaul and Katya arguing about something, leaving Mac unaccounted for as the acid rain starts. Taking the opportunity, Mitchell kills Mac by kicking him out of the cave. Meanwhile it turns out Katya and RuPaul were also arguing about shelter, RuPaul trying to leverage her power and telling Katya not to listen to her "inner saboteur", Katya sees through the deception and punches RuPaul in her left tit and leaves her in the rain. Then we have the final two, and Katya finds out Mitchell has killed her beloved teammate, MacDoesIt. The final fight is passionate and ruthless and Katya triumphs in the name of all the ones she's lost. El fin

OMG I LITERALLY CAME UP WITH A HEADCANON AS SOON AS I SAW YOU PUT HER AND TRIXIE IN DISTRICT 1 AND IT CAME TRUE! I was like, ok Katya and Trixie would be careers bc obviously, and Trixie would be the one with the attitude to want to slay the hunger games, and Katya would be more laid back, but have the skills to actually slay, despite not really wanting to. Then I was like ok, but as soon as Trixie dies, that will be Katya's motivation to then go on and win the damn thing. The fact this played out with Trixie dying on the first day and then Katya waiting til the end to kill people and only ever leaving people to die or defending herself until the final 2, is WILD.
