Pontoons seem more seaworthy with 12 peoples weight distributed on two hulls. I'm sure that one is more fun.
Very different animals. This boat should steer better and go faster with lower HP engine, have better gas mileage, but it has much less deck space for sure... Pontoon boat is not for open sea/ocean, but this one I think is OK with some restrictions.
