Hi Ifeyinwa, stumbled on you 2 nights ago. I had my microlocs installed yesterday, so the night before I was watching videos on "What I wished I had known before installation" and your video about 5 things you wished you had known came up. Personally, microlocs for me is not about the length (I've had locs in a previous life), I want locs but also be able to braid my hair and also wear wigs. Your length in the aforementioned video is my dream length. I had cut my hair the day before installation from 15inches (give or take) to 10inches (this specific length wasn't intentional, I just wanted to cut my hair). To the reason why I'm writing, I showed my locticians your video to communicate my dream length and style (they were a tad bit upset/disappointed? that my hair was much shorter from my consultation). We were all going "wow...she's so pretty...it suits her so well". Then me watching this video and finding out we used the same loc company (ENIBRAIDS)for our microlocs! 🤣🤣 When they come for the retie in 4wks I'll show them this. 😉 And yes...you are so so pretty and this suits you to a T! Enjoy your journey. 😘😍
@@fuchsififi5586 It's been great so far...1yr 5mth in. The only challenge I had was going 14wks without re-tie (I usually re-tie every 6wks) last summer due to traveling, I also wasn't able to have braids in because I just had a re-tie before my trip, there was a bit of repair needed around my edges. I have braided my hair 3 times in the 17mths (currently in braids) but it's best to just leave it alone. I am still able to wear wigs (funny that I've not needed/wanted any since my install) because my hair density is light (to give an idea how light, my original loc count was 330, now total count is 318 😆). I usually wash every 2-3 weeks and definitely on the morning of my re-tie.

John 3:16 says , “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ! Believing in Christ isn’t only enough! Even the demons believe! However, Matthew 6:33 talks about us seeking Him and spending time with Him in the secret place ( where He lives- Matthew 6:6). If we seek Him, we will find Him! $150 for microlocs!😱😱 I might need to take a trip that trip. The lowest I was quoted was $600 and that’s if my hair is ear-length or shorter 🙄🙄
It's definitely worth taking the trip if you can!

Hi! Did you experience itchy scalp during the first 10 weeks? How did you handle it?
I didn't have that but I used a peppermint spray from almocado that you could look into
