Of course, I saw your video of When You Believe but, often times, I get so mesmerized by Angelina that a lot of what the reactor says goes past me. I have now listened to this song well over 1,000 times and I decided to replay your video again. But this time, I focused on watching you and listening to what you said, beginning to end. Your contribution to Angelina's video was tremendous in so many ways. Watching your facial expressions made me realize how very much you love her as I do. Valerie, Angelina’s performances give me a sense of intimacy. I’m sure other fans can agree that they feel Angelina is singing directly to them. That intimacy is part of what endears us to her. I never get that intimate feeling from any other artist.

Hi Valerie, thanks for the nice reaction & input. I really love how Angie made this song much more intimate. I've said it once I'll say it a 1000x. It's like songs were written for Angie & the originals are the covers. When a reporter ask what Madonna thought about Angie (back when she was 12 & invited to open for Quincy Jones 85th B-day in London), She said "She's terrifying". Pretty much says it all. =)

She sings this so delicately and tenderly bringing out the story and the emotion of this song of hope. Hope which we need so badly these days. She holds back and does not blast away and I feel it really suits the song. It is so beautiful and relaxes me after a wearisome day.

AJ are at a critical point in life. The mind begins to overrule your instincts. More than ever, the message are importent in her song choice.

Hi Today I want to say something that I have realized for a long time but I do not encourage myself for fear of being repudiated "how can it be that there are people who put their thumbs down with so much love, passion and creativity that there is in this interpretation" without the intention of offending, I also believe that the reaction is not only sincere but also accurate . But when it comes to Angelina I can´t think how she would sound like if she steps outside this world we know her for. Jazz and songs like this one. I would love to hear her sing something accapela like Janis Joplin´s Mercedes Benz or something from Son House repertoire. I would like to hear what she would do if she found some blues song to fool around with and make her own version of, that would be fun to listen to.
