Just played this ,, bouncing up n down … side to side on my sofa with my beers like a complete nutter,,, call it what you want ,, but I had tons of records like this late 90’s - 2003’ish & back then it was called hardhouse,, admittedly these have a few more stabs in ,, few old skool Belgian techno samples in the set too…. It's been good 20 years since I've been to this kind of party and oh my God she's just brought all these memories hidden deep in my mind. I wish my family could withstand this type of music. The best is that the longer I listen to it the better it is.
Her production, her taste and energy they are really good but her mixing technique is just regular a bit above average at best... She is basically making simple transitions and mostly playing only one track by one most of the time. Every resident in any better club can do that. What makes difference though is good production and team and marketing team that stands behind her. I like her a lot, her track are dope and her label too but her djing skills are nothing special. Just my opinion though

Track selection is Banging, but it takes more than good tracks to impress. I'll be honest, I was only here to see if she is for REAL, clocking the mixer, the mixes, and everything she touched. Totally refreshing to see a real DJ, playing great tracks with on point mixing, AND NOT FAKING the FUNK! No pretend button manipulation here, real mixes with as little assistance as possible with today's equipment, with again, great tracks! This DJ is for real! New fan here!
How do you tell the DJ is actually making changes live rather than preset? I'm sure it takes experience to identify it so I am oblivious to what they are actually doing with all the knob adjustments.

Any techno DJ can have 'a' good set... or some parts of the set that are good... but the thing with Amelie is that she is consistently incredible. That in my opinion is rare among hardcore techno DJs. She is easily my #1 tech DJ ever.
