Jerry Fielding - The Love Theme (1970's)

Music clips culled from Sam Peckinpah's "Junior Bonner" (1972)-in which Ellie Bonner (actress Ida Lupino) is talking to her husband Ace (actor Robert Preston) about their future-and the season 1 episode from "The Bionic Woman" entitled "Welcome Home, Jaime" (1976)-in which Jaime Sommers (actress Lindsey Wagner) is asking to her boyfriend Steve Austin (actor Lee Majors) about their past engagement. In both clips, you recognize the same love theme music composed and arranged by Jerry Fielding.

I wish more of his music was available, especially the Bionic Woman underscores. His main theme for Bionic Woman is one of greatest pieces of music ever composed in my opinion.
It wasn't the first time Fielding re-used a cue, he did it in Demon Seed and Straw Dogs. I even used that cue in my film (Reflections)

Very interesting! In the Bonanza episode from season 12 Episode 17 "Top Hand", series composer David Rose uses some incidental music throughout the entire episode that would later become the theme from Little House on the Prairie, his (and MIchael Landon's) next series.

@MrChickybee1 That's so true. I tried to watch the first few episodes of the new Bionic Woman series. But it just wasn't the same. it wasn't the Jaime remembered. I didn't even like the storyline at all.
