I ended up getting a large as well. My Amish bike, Pivot Switchblade, I ride Medium all day. The large Yeti feels pretty much identical, likely due to the steeper seat angle. Bought a demo bike from the local bike shop and saved $3,000. Sweet bike!
I just bought an XL 160e C2 with factory suspension upgrade and the only thing I would like to change is the brakes...other than that it's a killer bike!
I'm surprised the XT brakes didn't feel so hot. Then again, I've never tried TRP's. Cool video. At this stage of my life a tricked out E-bike would be a MASSIVE luxury. There's just too much other stuff I'd rather throw my cash at. Hope you get yours soon!
I am looking for a full emtb too. I have a Kenevo SL and its hard to like any bike after that. I rode the yeti, mondrake, orbea wild, did not love any of those. I wish I could try the commencal meta power sx or fezzari timp peak. Thanks for the video!
@@AngrywolverineMTB my Decoys a large, my Izzo is a large, and my Capra was a large. All YT models though, which are known to be 1/2size or more down. However, I’ve thought about getting another Capra just for shuttle and bike park and would consider a medium this time around just for the nimble movement and I’m 5-10 🤷🏻♂️ so I’m On the fence ..
@@AngrywolverineMTB Run a 180mm fork on a size large to shorten the reach further and crush the chunky DH with the slacker HTA and the 10mm of extra travel. Yeti's race team are running 180mm up front.
@@AngrywolverineMTB Love my LEVO.. You might by more interested in the Kenevo. I'm looking to pair my Levo with a Kenevo SL (when the new one comes out with 50nm) The new Levo SL came out yesterday. I'd reallllly look into that one if you like the weight of your regular bike.
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ I saw that new release, it looks pretty sweet but I think I’m leaning towards the more full power style like the kenevo, 160e, or a decoy

Hey nice video i have a question. I am 180 cm tall and i just ordered an yeti 160E T3 in size large. Do you think it will be to big for me? Normaly i use size M in different brands but i did a demo on a large and i felt the size was good but i dident try the size M

When I bought it, i ended up going with a medium just to be on the safe side & I gotta say it was the right decision

Sick! & yeh it's a super awesome bike, I know a few others that have bought one & they say its way better than the YT decoy.

Thanks dude & XT’s are good brakes I just think with the weight of the ebike they don’t perform as good as TRPS or Magura

Crazy that u didn’t like the orbea or yeti 😳
nice. You looked pretty comfortable on that large. MULLET !! for sure.
The large felt good & it’s making me question if I should size up 🤔🤔🤔

@@boonemoose Awesome, I was kinda thinking of doin that, thanks for the info 👍👍
nice buddy..., what shock was on the Mondraker?
It had Ohlins suspension front & rear, but the bike was aluminum so maybe that’s why it didn’t feel so poppy 🤷🤷🤷
nice, levo gen 3 are good to and now on sale🧨🔥🔥💯
Hmmmm 🤔🤔…might have to demo one

An e-bike needs shimano saints. Not sure why more e-bike manufacturers don’t use them.
I totally agree, e-bikes need good stopping power ‼️
I have a medium T1 build w/ low, low miles. Lemme know if interested (Sedona).
