I feel like I need to interpret this song, or more, the video. So, I think this song and video is about depression. The illness is presented by the ones that keep him in captivity. The ones who are coming to save him, are his friends because he can't get out of it alone. But with help he manages to do that and in the end he turns 'against' the depression and shows how there is still light inside of him. Now, what I noticed, was that his saviors weren't holding lights up, but all the other people coming out of the dark did. So maybe these people suffered, like him, from deperession and were imprisoned but they fighted and eventually won and now they're standing together, showing that he is not alone and altoghether they're not just one, but a million of lights. Of people who are fighting the same old war, but are still having hopes and dreams they show that one day they will be able to escape their prison. Just thoughts I had while watching this video, I didn't especially listened to the lyrics but one line that stuck with me was "they say it's a battle that can't be won". And yeah, it is damn hard to fight depression, because you're already fighting yourself, I know that, but like the video shows: don't give up. You'll make it. Embrace your light, shine. One day every war will end.

I feel like I need to interpret this song, or more, the video.
So, I think this song and video is about depression.
The illness is presented by the ones that keep him in captivity. The ones who are coming to save him, are his friends because he can't get out of it alone. But with help he manages to do that and in the end he turns 'against' the depression and shows how there is still light inside of him. Now, what I noticed, was that his saviors weren't holding lights up, but all the other people coming out of the dark did. So maybe these people suffered, like him, from deperession and were imprisoned but they fighted and eventually won and now they're standing together, showing that he is not alone and altoghether they're not just one, but a million of lights. Of people who are fighting the same old war, but are still having hopes and dreams they show that one day they will be able to escape their prison.
Just thoughts I had while watching this video, I didn't especially listened to the lyrics but one line that stuck with me was "they say it's a battle that can't be won". And yeah, it is damn hard to fight depression, because you're already fighting yourself, I know that, but like the video shows: don't give up. You'll make it. Embrace your light, shine. One day every war will end.
