With hundreds of steel siding jobs under my belt I will say you're using the worst snips to cut steel with. If I were your customer and you use that level on my guaranteed non-level house I'd run you off.
Since you said you have worked with steel sidings a lot, what do you think about steel sidings? I heard it’s really loud when it heats up in the summer, is it true?
@@King-2077 Back when Alside was owned by US Steel I worked a lot of brown steel siding. It got real hot. Average steel siding has PVC as the color while other brands use the type of paint used on steel roofing. The PVC absorbs the suns heat while the roofing kind of paint reflects the suns rays. I've seen my share of vinyl siding melt. I'd prefer Hardy board but being a cement product expands and contracts like nothing else. My biggest complaint with steel is the PVC coming off and how Gentek carelessly comes and paints what's peeling and leaving the mess. The manufactures have priced steel siding to where a valid conversation to go with brick should be considered. Every other month I get notice that steel siding and its accessories are going up 12-15% and brick is forever. I try to stay as close to gutter work and stay away from an unstable siding industry. During the Soetoro years I watched as small siding manufactures were gobbled up by bigger corporations and a lot of products were deleted meaning not available.
Love the detail thanks
